We stayed one night and were very pleased with the room and especially the bed. My wife and I sleep in a Select Comfort air bed at home so we find sleeping on many hotel beds an uncomfortable, annoying experience. The big refrigerator was perfect since we had brought food that needed to be kept cold for a family gathering the next day. Curiously, in two visits to the front desk there wasn't anyone at the front desk. A sign advised that they were currently "servicing other customers" with a phone number to call to summon them. They weren't far away, however. There is a Perkins Restaurant a short walk away. Close to the Marriott and Mall in a great location in West Des Moines. We would stay there again.

No 2 bed in the room option. This is a extended stay hotel. Nice if you are a couple or single and plan on staying in the area for a while. There is a fridge, stove top, microwave, and dishes for your use. For a family this is not a good hotel because there is only one bed. They do not have a two bed option. My girls slept on the floor and work up a little sore. I was disappoint with my stay for that reason.

Great motel for value! Very clean. Nothing. Located right off of the interstate. Fairly easy to find, clean rooms and lobby. Staff was friendly. Liked the detailed map located in room.

It smelled fresh and clean. Great appearance; friendly people. Mattress should be firmer. Candlewood was nicer than the Extended Stays we have been in. The fresh smell was refreshing. It met all our needs.

Had kitchenette and honor system store for snacks. Nothing. This hotel is great for the short or extended stay. Has microwave, stove, dishwasher, plates and silverware and a full fridge with an ice maker. I was very pleased with the room and would stay here again. I was placed in a smoking room so asked the front desk if I could change. The man working the desk was very courteous and made the change right away.

I do like the full kitchen. It looked like it needed updated. Overall this hotel was fine if you are not a picky person when it comes to where you stay. The lobby area is kind of strange in the fact that you have to go into another room with small desks to check in. It definitely needed updated and seemed dingy. The room needed cleaning as I saw cobwebs in the corners.

Near a large mall, theater andrestaurants. The accommodations were clean, nicer than a low-end all-suites hotel, and quite. Very close to Jordan Creek Mall and restaurants for easy entertainment and good meal options. Right off I-80.

Very nice and helpful staff. Good location. Very clean and modern. GPS Navigation systems don't take you directly the the address. It's nice to see some smiling, friendly faces at a Candlewood Suites. My last stay at the Candlewood Suites in Omaha was a nightmare. Rooms were shabby. The help at that location is always unfriendly.

The staff was awsome and the hotel was comfortable. There was no pool. I thought this was a very nice and comfotable hotel. The staff was great to us and it was located in a very convenent area. They also had a store in the hotel lobby that was very convenient and they used the honor code so if you didnt ave the cash on you.

Friendly andhelpful staff. Location was further from downtown Des Moines than I liked. Difficult to access interstate because of stoplights. Friendly, helpful staff. Location is a long way from downtown DM; also remote from University Avenue section of WDM from 22nd - 50th Streets.

Close to Jordan Creek mall. Bed was uncomfortable. Location was wonderful. Price was good. We just couldn't sleep well because the bed wasn't comfortable.

The manager was willing to take care of the problems we encountered. The moldy smell at the front door and the rudest desk clerk I've ever met. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped. They claim to be pet friendly, but want to charge you $75/night to keep your pet.

Clean, comfortable beds. In-room kitchenette. DVD player. No housekeeping was ever done in the two days we were there. For the money this is the place to go. Beds were clean and comfortable and the rooms had kitchenettes. Room itself was cleaned and didn't creep me out wondering what type of nastiness had happened in there prior. Seemed like more of an apartment than a hotel room.

The pantry where you could buy ammenities. We did not expect and extended stay room--our daughter came in from college to meet us and had to sleep on the floor because all rooms have one bed. If this is what you are looking for the extended stay room was very nice.

Clean, comfortable and conveniently located. Scratchy towels. We stayed here during a weekend trip, and enjoyed it very much. The room was clean and comfortable; it had full cable TV and in-room coffee. The only downside was that we had business on the southeast side of town, and this hotel is on the far west side. Overall, a great experience.
