I have not stayed at this hotel for three years and if anything it has improved. There were lots of towels and the room was clean. The check in and check out was very easy with no problems.

Super friendly - excellent location - very clean! Nothing! Excellent place to stay - especially when you like to cook your own meals and travel with pets or have unexpected guests. Staff including the cleaning folks were so friendly and helpful. Location was perfect - close to everything and easy access to/from main streets. This is the place to stay when visiting Colorado Springs! We will from now on!

The hotel staff is incredible friendly. They assisted me with anything I needed. Directions, phone numbers, and great restaurants. The staff were more like my friends. The great part was, there was always someone friendly ready to help at the front desk. The General Manager was also friendly and outgoing. The rooms were very very very clean. I'm a neat freak and I was very impressed with how clean the room was. The beds were AMAZING!!! When I asked the front desk they said they just got new matresses and linnens. I also got to bring my dog. However the room does not look or smell like a pet friendly hotel. I also mentioned this to the front desk. Apparently after someone with a pet checks out, they steam clean the carpet, put new cutains in, and deep clean the room. I wish my house smelled this good! The hotel is by tons of restaurants and a few minutes away from the mall. Since it was right off of I 25 it was easy to find. The business room has two computers and a printer for anyone to use. It was FREE!! They also had a snack store by the front desk, it was cheap and more convienent then going to the store. So it made my life easier and cheaper. The best part about Candlewood is their rate, it's so affordable it kind of made me hesitate. When I got here I couldnt believe how nice it was. Oh, they have comforters with duvets instead of a cheap thin bedspread. I was so comfortable I'll never stay anywhere else again! I definitely reccomend you stay at Candlewood, it's made my traveling experience reach a new expectation.

It was a 10 all the way around. Friendly, helpful staff, the room was clean, bright, and extremely comfortable. Minimal parking.

Front desk staff at all hours is very friendly. No restaurants within site but offers a pantry with many food and snack options. Food and shopping a short drive (1 min) down the road. Room offers all the comforts of home -- and very comfortable bed and linen. I have already recommended it to family and friends. Do-it-yourself laundry service is free and close to fitness area (all secured entry w/ room key). I will definitely stay there when I return to Colorado Springs.

Kitchenette was handy and stocked, good space for company to visit and comfortable beds. Not a big problem, but more frequent trash pickups would be nice. Good location to family we were visiting, enough space to eat a meal and visit in our room. Large bathroom, but more wall hooks would be nice. Very friendly and helpful staff. Small convenience store is nice to have, and free laundry was also helpful.

"Although the hotel listed that they had high speed internet, you needed an ethernet cable; it was not ""wi-fi"". I wouldn't have stayed there otherwise. Also the bathroom was roomy however had a tiny sink and no room to put any makeup etc.`"

Loved the kitchenette stocked with utensils/supplies. No pool. Perfect, inexpensive place for a family's extended stay. I loved the kitchenette with utensils included, was very helpful. Roll away beds were available, but uncomfortable, so a bigger room is best when you have more than one child. Would definitely stay again.

It was comfortable, clean and relaxing. Free movie selection was very poor. Breakfast brownbag idea no thanks. We were there for a quick anniversary celebration. Eighteen years thank you! We enjoyed the room and enjoyed just relaxing together watching movies. Very clean. Would stay again. Would like a better breakfast. It was a nice time.

Clean, practical, friendly. Hard to get to off of academy blvd. Great place and the fire alarms do work because our air conditioner around 1 am started smoking, setting off the alarms. We were immediately put in an identical room without any hassle.

Great Room. Parking. Would stay again, was nice with the small kitchen in the room was handy for breakfast. And everything you would need was there, plates, spoons, forks, cups & plates, so you could fix meals there without having to eat out. Worth the few extra bucks.

Free laundry facilities. Inability to work out. Room arrangements needed at agreed upon price. The hotel was fine. We were upset that our room accommodations (needing two beds, non-smoking) was not honored.

The Doubletree Hotel Chain fails to offer even free Wifi for travelers, which is disappointing considering they consider themselves as catering to business travelers. The menu of standard overpriced hotel food. was definetely lacking in quality to the most basic of chain restaurants. I would recommend only the comfort of the rooms at this particular hotel.

The food cupboard had a great selection. Very nice, clean hotel for business traveler, great kitchen facilities, internet, even fitness center and laundry. I like it.
