The Candlewood was very nice clean rooms. I had requested a 1st floor due to my husband and my knee problems, but they did not have any but they did have an elevator. We had another couple with us but the check in person did not give us rooms close at all on the third floor. It was not until I found that the TV in our room did not work that I asked to be re-located and then he put us even further away until I asked him if he had a room closer and then he put us right across the hall from the other room! Don't the front desk people even think?? Other than that we thought our accommodations were very good and close to restaurants.

Very convenient to freeway, lightrail, restaurants and shopping The AC/heater has only one fan speed - high and loud. For a property built in the 70s, it is in great shape. The kitchenette equipment is first class. Exercise room available 24/7. The staff was very friendly. All in all, the nicest budget-suite place I've ever stayed.

Clean & quiet room, comfortable chairs & bed, reasonable mini kitchen, free wired Internet, good selection of free DVD rentals, close walking distance to several resturants & fast food, bus to light rail (no bus on Sunday), plenty of parking, I would be very pleased to stay there again.

This hotel was very busy the night we arrived, which we thought was a good sign. The accommodations were comfortable, with a very comfortable bed, kitchenette, desk, etc. The room was small but laid out so well that it didn't feel small at all! Laundry facilities and workout room would have been really important additions had we stayed longer. I was most impressed by the selection of toiletries, snacks, beverages, etc. available for purchase - many times larger than anything I've seen at even the most expensive hotels!! Overall a good value! Close enough to the freeway and major roads, but set back a bit to provide peace and quiet.

Decor in room was nice and it the remodel was well done. Could not get internet to work and noisy heating system. It was a great place to stay overall. The two concerns I had would stop me from choosing this place again however. No wireless and the connection they did provide did not work. The heater was noisy when it turned on making it difficult to sleep or constantly adjusting the TV volume. If those are not your concerns, it's a great value.

Candle wood suites would be a great place to stay for buisness purposes however did not have the resort atmosphere I was looking for.

Spaciousness of studio. Assortment of cooking utensils and amenities provided. No ScFi Channel. I appreciate having the 24-hour staff for late night check-in, since I frequently have to do that.

This was a great hotel. While it was close to shops and other business, it was a little hard to find. But by the 2nd day all was better. The room was great with a full kitchen and everything. Only bad note, the DVD did not work and no one at the hotel could tell me how to fis it. Other than that my wife and I had a great time.

The night front desk person was extremely helpful to me. Very helpful staff. Clean room and nice layout.

The Candlewood Suites was located right near my seminar site and was located near many restaurants, shopping and grocery stores. The suite was everything that I expected. I was especially pleased that the internet access WAS included with the price of the room.

Convenient location, cleanliness andbathroom. The bed was too small. Luckily we arrived before the front door was locked or we would have had trouble getting in as did many other travelers. Due to injuries and illness, we requested and received a handicap room, but there was only one queen-sized bed. Other than that, everything was just fine.

It was quite and the bed was comfortable. This was the worst hotel I ever stayed at! People put trash in the corridor and it was not picked up for 3 days, employees were the most unfriendly people ever. The only good thing was the bed comfortable and it was quite to sleep. I will never go back to that place. What a horrible experience!

Price, location, friendly, clean, comfortable, kitchen and appliances. Everything was well. Easy to find, staff was friendly. Bed was comfortable; kitchenette with full refrigerator & ice maker was nice to have. Bathroom was clean with nice large towels. Refrigerator in room was cold. Did not use exercise room or laundry room. Overall recommended comfortable!

Free laundry. Fire alarms off twice in one week and did nothing about kids setting off alarms. Hotel could be cleaner. Housekeeping was friendly and staff at front desk rude.

Room was VERY clean and well maintained. Bed was great! Elevators are not clearly marked. The staff at this hotel is great. The rooms are very nice and well appointed. Nice, functional mini-kitchen and internet workspace. The bed was very comfortable and the room had plenty of closet space.
Date of Stay:

The rooms are suites with a stove, fridge, and microwave. There is no vanity and minimal shelf space around the bathroom sink. The building and grounds are attractive and the rooms are very functional for travelers requiring a lengthy stay.

Friendly staff & SUPER clean room! No negative comment is possible. Front desk staff was extremely helpful - directions to Coors Field - Locally known short-cuts etc. The maid must have taken lessons from my mother - everything was spotless! A definite pleasure.

Kitchen and location. No room service came around to make our bed or clean towels. Everything was just ok. Not the best, but not the worst. Would really have made it a whole lot better had my bed been made everyday, and clean towels in my bathroom. We stayed 4 days with 2 towels.

Good bed. Clean andcomfortable room. There is virtually no lobby. Entrance and check in space was very small and arranged poorly. It was awkward to get in the doors due small space & turn Good place to spend the night & sleep, but not to spend any additional time.
Date of Stay:
May, 2008
It was dark in the room at night. The lobby area is not inviting. This hotel was more for long-term guests. It had a kitchenette, for instance and no hotel breakfast.
