I have never been to a hotel that was so friendly, helpful and also acommodating. I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was quiet and very clean, which is a plus.

Nice bed and pillows. Dirty. The lobby had a powerful smell of rancid sweat. The smell was overwhelming. The odor almost caused gagging which leads to fasting. I was glad to leave, and would never dream of deliberately staying at this hotel due to the odor.

This property is a little hard to find if you are not familiar with Birmingham. It is right off of the interstate, but there is no signage visable from the road. However, it is worth the search. The room was spotless, and the kitchen fully equiped, down to the paper towels - real plates, spoons, glasses and so on. I chose it primarily because in addition to it being the midpoint on my trip, it is totally pet friendly (all the Candlewoods are - a real plus.) The staff is extremely friendly. The grounds are well maintained, and very pretty. There is not a pool, which wasn't a factor for me, but might be for a family traveling with children, but the high-speed internet was excellent, and there is a nicely appointed fitness center. Overall, a great value for the money.

Proximity to restaurants shopping. Got bed bugs last night there afterAC maintenance person came in. It was fairly good but would not sleep with the bugs again.

"Don't be fooled by 2 star rating. Based on cleanliness this is a far better hotel. High speed internet. Nice little kitchen w/ hardwood floor as a nice touch. Maid service only once a week, so if you're into that kind of crap, you might find a conventional hotel."

The kitchenette and price. Igot lost trying to find. Iwas very impressed with the hotel.I recommend to a lot of people who traveled there told them they need to go there next year for tournament.

Loved the location was wonderful. What a great place to stay for family or business travel. They had an inexpensive snack area with great choices. The rooms were clean and the staff members were very friendly. The location was wonderful--shopping and restaurants all nearby.

The bed was comfortable. No ice machines except ice makers in the freezer in the room and was not told to turn it on when I arrived. This hotel was not the quality I was expecting.

The free fast internet & fridge/microwave. No pool. Overall, it was great. After a long day working at the convention, it was like coming home.

The hotel was nice. The clerks were friendly. However, the room was really smaller than we anticipated but overall it was still a nice and comfortable The room was really small as well as the bed. Overall it was a nice stay. More so for people traveling. The rooms can stand to be a little more updated and mordernized but overall it was fine.

Had everything I needed in the room when I got there! Hotel was not busy, but put us all in the same area/floor; it was very noisy at 2am. If they are as under booked as they were, they need to spread out guests more. We were on the top floor, which everyone seemed to be on, and it was very noisy. We had to call the front desk twice the one night we stayed and again the next morning because people were yelling at 6:30AM.

The price. The lobby was like a cheap motel, there were cigarette burns on the carpet, the recliner, the bathroom sink and the kitchen countertop. They had a snack bar that cost for everything except the coffee. The room was a little tight for 4 people. The weight room was nice and the free laundry machine but the lobby was very unwelcoming, tiny and felt like a cheap motel. For the price it was ok but we won't stay there again. It was a little hard to see my children around cigarette burns.
