Stayed one night before a cruise &my wife & i loved it. You'll have to get your own transportation, no shuttle service,38dollars for 2 people on Super Shuttle van service but it's worth not having all the headaches of the so called free shuttles to the cruise port. About 10 -15 minutes from the airport but in a nice, safe area so it's worth the extra money you'll pay for transportation. a few eateries 2-5 blocks away. You won't be disappointed.

Travellers should be informed that at this location there is no room service/cleaning unless you stay more than 7 days. The room gets cleaned once every 7 daysClean towels are available upon request

Had an overnight layover in Miami. Stayed here and loved it! Bed was amazingly comfortable and room had all the amenities you could need. Hotel was very clean and in a good area. Took about 20 min to get to the airport. Had many resturant and fast food choices within 5 min.

Friendly staff, nice location. No wireless but with wire internet available, TV remote battery was not working but they changed it soon.

Long story short: Broken A/C took 24 hours for someone to come fix. Spikes sticking up out of carpet, musty smell. Ants ants ants. Nice and roomy but not the cleanest. Bedroom area cramped and small. Management left an apology "note" with priority club points which are worth pennies.

Only Bad Thing ~ the thermostate on the A/C wasn't reading the correct temp always so was somtimes chilly in the room.Everything Else GREAT ~ lots of restaurants within walking distance, shopping center also within walking distance, Full menu restaurant delivery service, Convience store located in hotel, Walk to bus stop, Not far from the beach (bus can take you there), Very Clean Room, Amazingly comfortable beds, Fully furnished (stove, refrig., microw., pots, cups, glasses, plates,) kitchen in suites, Iron, Blow Dryer, Coffee Maker, Pool/area was very nice. Oh yeah this didn't bother "ME" after the first day, but you are kinda close to the air port (MIAMI INT"L) so you do hear planes landing and taking off.

The hotel was close to all the main highways and it was easy to get everyewhere we needed to go. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. With a small kitchen that included microwave, refrigerator and coffemaker, we were able to fix our own super, day-starting breakfast each day and bring in leftovers each night. The price on Orbitz was unbelievable - this is the place to stay if you want no frills but comfort and some key amenities!

Sleeps four. On flight path - noisy; got a smoking room despite asking for a non-smoking one. The hotel is in an industrial district and on the flight path, so you don't have much choice of dining and you can forget about sleeping before 10:30pm or after 6:30am. We got a smoking room despite asking for a non-smoking one. The receptionist insisted it was non-smoking though you could hardly breathe because of the smell, and there wasn't a 'No Smoking' sign on the door, unlike other rooms in the same corridor. The A/C controls did not work. All in all, we were thrilled to leave.

I read other reviews on this hotel and people thougth it was a bad place. Honestly this hotel has been the best hotel I've stayed at. It was very clean, there were room service every day. Free 24 hour laundry area and Gym, staff was great and had a smile everyday. No one was in your business, you have your own privacy. The beds are very comfortable and if you need any kind of store/restaurant there's plenty to choose from around the area. I would definately stay in this hotel again. I love this hotel and I think it is great to be relax with no interruptions at all.

This was strictly a ""no-frills"" hotel, you'll need a rental car it's 30+ min from SoBe & The Grove. The front desk closes at 11pm though??? The hallways had a chemicals odor, perhaps from cleaning supplies. Room was clean, and gym was nice. Didn't like the VCR but no DVD in the room? Either have DVD or nothing at all IMO. The best feature is the 24 hour snack cupboard, great for midnight or early morning snacks.

The Candlewood Suites was comfortable for the price. The room had a fridge, stove, and microwave, which was convenient. The bathroom was a little small, but overall, everything was clean and nice for the price we paid.

We used the hotel just for one night before a cruise out of Miami.The hotel was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for us since it was just a few minutes from Miami International where we had our transfer to the ship from the cruise line.

Good room sizes and massive beds. Part of the second floor smelt really bad of cigarettes. Great location for Miami airport, hotel is very clean and the staff is both friendly and helpful, I would certainly stay here again.
