When we first checked into the hotel we were really upbeat about it, and though we did enjoy our stay there, we were disappointed by the following maintenance/amenity issues: 1) coffee maker was there, but no coffee.It took 3 requests to get coffee brought to the room, and then it was delivered without any sugar, milk, etc. to make coffee. 2) the aerator was missing on the spigot in the bathroom sink, the effect of which was that the water splattered all over the otherwise very nice bathroom countertop. 3) when we lowered the window shade it promptly fell off its roll or track. 4) the box for the shower cap was there, but was empty so that there was no shower cap 5) the hair dryer blew cold air. We were only there for one night,were tired, and had gotten a good rate, so the only thing we mentioned to the bellhop and front desk was the coffee. There is a charge for parking of 50 pesos if you pay at the desk and more if you pay at the machine in the parking area. The restaurant was open (till late) in the hotel. The food was fine, but we were appalled that they charged us 42 pesos for a can of soda. That was a bit too much. The starbucks next to the hotel DOES have half and half (hard to find in Mx.).

My family and I had the view of the mountains and my two boys loved to sit by the window and look at the traffic and mountains while we ate. They especially loved the bathroom. It's all very modern and the staff is great.

The Camino Real Monterrey, Mexico was very comfortable and modern. The hotel has many amenities to make your stay comfortable, great restaurants, lounge bars, exercise room and spa, to name a few. The staff was very friendly and they spoke english. The hotel is within walking distance of a very nice mall with great stores and restaurants. In addition, the view of the Monterrey mountains was great.

Hotel was brand new and very modern. Service was terrific and the restaurant excellent. I will definitely come back.
