Camelot Inn, Niagra Falls was your very basic hotel. The rooms chipped paint on the walls but the location was ideal for New Years Eve Celebration and Tourist attactions!
Date of Stay:
November, 2008
There were holes in the walls, there wasnt a cover on the outlet. the tub didn't drain very well. overall i would say that you get what you pay for.

The Camelot Inn was conviently located to all Niagara major attractions. Very safe neighborhood, Hotel Staff was very friendly, upon check in we didn't have a remote for the T.V. and desk clerk came to our room within 5 minutes with workable remote. For the price, the motel was well worth it. The Inn is a little outdated with furnishings but, I would definately stay at the Camelot Inn when I return to Niagara Falls in the future.

Upon entering the room, it was like a dungeon, very dark. Bathtub was full of water as the drain didnt work unless you held down the handle. TV remote had to be reprogrammed every time you shut off TV. Room had 1 light above tv, nothing near beds, no phone, no phonebook, etc. Manager forgot to come reprogram remote control, but instead was outside smoking butts with cleaning lady.

We arrived at 3:00pm; Our room was not ready...So we returned at 4:30. The room was ready. Hotel mgt put us in a room the size of a matchbox and directly next to the road. (I guess they appreciated us being flexible)The bed was a small queen and TV was from 1980. I approached mgt and they were non-responsive to my complaint.

We felt the Camelot Inn was the worst room we have ever rented. There were many things wrong with the room. First, the deadbolt did not work properly and had to be jiggled to get it to work at all. The only dresser in the room had 2 out of 4 drawers that worked properly, there was no phone, no coffepot, no hairdryer, no iron, not even an ice bucket. Staff did bring us a plastic saver bowl when we requested an ice bucket. The carpet was blackened from dirt and the only chair in the room was uphostered and it was so dirty that we wouldn't sit in it. We were very uncomfortable. It was on the same street as the casino and access to the falls but too far for us to walk to either destination. They did supply soap in the shower and at the bathroom sink. There was a t.v. in the room with a remote. The staff seemed to be friendly enough and the linens seemed clean, however, I would not stay there again nor would I recommend it to my friends.

Not real bad, but the property has seen better days, I'm sure. Carpeting needs to be replaces..bath could use some maintenance. On the plus side, they gave us an hour later check out. A bit of a walk to the Falls from here.

upon check in there was not very many people there, but when we came later there was a lot of people there, mostly from canada, groups of people gathered around rooms wiith doors open, drinking beer from open bottles. the bathroom had dirt behind the door, like you don't close the door and mop behind it. there is not vanity in which to leave any personnel items. could not get ice when office is closed because ice machine is in office, which does not open until 8:30 a.m. the carpet was extremely dirty. all in all not a good experience.

This establishment was very unprofessional. The receptionist area was clean and presentable, everything else is a no go.

I was overall satisfied with the stay in this hotel. The only thing it didn't have was a coffee maker, but as the guy who works in the hotel told me, there was a canadian chain called Tim Hortons similar to Dunkin donuts just down the street, and it's open 24 hours.
