We had 2 stays first was great.Hotel right in the city centre. Our room was a huge corner room with fantastic view of the Cathedral. Excellent value for money.Second stay room with no view blinds where filthy and guest laundry was really filthy. Overall stay was great and staff where really nice and helpful.Great position

Nice hotel located right on Cathedral Square. We had 3 nights stay and the price was good for location. Friendly and helpful staff. We had trouble finding it at first driving around. Would definately stay again.

The staff were very helpful. It was roomy and comfortable for the two of us. Very convenient just next to the cathedral. Would stay here again.

Centrally located and easy to get to everything without using the car. There is however, a $NZ10 per night car parking expense and the cost of using the inhouse, wi-fi, is astronomical, $NZ40 for two nights. It would be cheaper to use the host of internet cafes around the hotel.

Very friendly staff and ask for a room that overlooks the square. At the moment there is major construction in the ajoining building so weekends are fine but weekdays there is a bit of noise. Location Location Location YES ITS GOT THAT

We were particularly impressed with the reception staff when a car ignition key was mislaid by them. They couldn't have done more, offered more or been more concerned. The problem was solved promptly but the concern shown by the staff was commendable. We would definitely stay there again.

This Hotel was outstanding in very respect. Location: right on Cathedral Square adjacent to th evry centre of Christchurch. Room facilities: Our room was spacious and extremely comfortable with 2 Queen size beds. It overlooked the side street and the corner of the Square and provided wonderful views at both dawn and dusk. The bathroom, which had been recently refurbished, was beautifully finished with excellent facilities.

this was a very comfortable hotel right in the center of town. breakfast was cooked especailly for us as we were later than most of the others who were on tours and they had cleared up the buffet trays. no complaints about that it was very substanital. hotel staff helpful with queries and with storing our luggage for a few hours.
