It was a suddenly discover on my trip about this hotel. During my 2 days and nights stayed there, I was enjoyed the new atmosphere and the care from a excellence well trained staffs. All I can said that during my whole trip, stayed at Camelia Hotel was my most memorable experience. Of course, I will visit this hotel every time if I have a chance to go to Hue again.

After seeing the many reviews here, I booked this hotel pre-cruise. We were extremely impressed by the location, friendliness of the staff, quality of the room, and the breakfast as well. We arrived late and the staff had everything ready for us. The room was elegant and large. The washroom clean and tidy. In room safe. Breakfast was great as well. Free internet in the lobby. Wish we could have stayed longer. Couldn't have asked for a better hotel. Highly highly recommended. Worth any reasonable cost.

Hotel is very good. Ladies are very beautiful and very friendly. I had stayed here for three months. This Hotel seems like my home in Bulgarian. Whenever I plan to come Hue city, Vietnam, I will stay here at Camellia Hue Hotel.

This place is brilliant and for just $40 and under ten minutes walk from the river. I arrived "on spec" and was given a drink and hot towel while they prepared a room for me. My room was spacious and like the rest of the hotel, spotlessly clean. The bathroom included a large bath with unlimited hot water and a high pressure shower. It seems that the staff (and there are loads of them) are recruited for their helpfulness and friendliness - typified by their offering umbrellas when it looked like rain. The inclusive buffet breakfast served on the well appointed 11th floor restaurant, was outstanding, and you feast yourself whilst enjoying stupendous views across the city. If I had to make one criticism it is that the pool is rather on the small side and located in a sunless part of the hotel - but who goes to Hue for the sunbathing anyway. This is certainly the best place I have stayed in Vietnam, and given the price, by far the best value for money.

This hotel is amazing! We stayed only 1 night but had a great stay. Had only opened 3 weeks prior so very very new! Marble bathrooms and comfy king-size bed with magnificent pillows! Phong Anh(staff member) was so helpful and spoke English very well. 10/10

We stayed here in end-Apr, about 3 weeks after the hotel started operation. This hotel is managed by the same management as the highly rated Orchid Hotel, but at a higher 4-star standard. We paid USD 51 for a city-view double with breakfast. The staff were eager to please, very welcoming and helpful with information. There are about 6 terminals of free internet at the lobby. The room is standard size, very clean, beautifully decorated and comes with a balcony. Beds are comfortable, shower has good pressure. Breakfast is an excellent spread at the rooftop (indoor and outdoor), from local cuisine to western fare, including a variety of cheese, bread, pastries and desserts. Don't miss the noodle soup and rice pancake stations. Being a new hotel, there were minor glitches. For example, one of the lifts were not working, the cable TV was down for a few hours, the pool was not filled yet. Otherwise, we were very pleased with the hotel, which is centrally located at a relatively quiet street.

This hotel exceeds expectations. We have stayed at 4 hotels this holiday, all listed 4 star at varying prices. This being the second most expensive. The Camellia far exceeded the rest in service, quality of accommodation (has only been open for 2 months) the standard of food was amazing. We ended up having breakfast, lunch and dinner in the hotel as the fare was so outstanding and very reasonably priced by hotel standards. I can't stress how good the service was, whether it was at the travel desk, the poolside, housekeeping, reception or restaurant. It is also child friendly. I'd like to come back just to stay in this top quality hotel again.

Hotel is ultra "modern". Our room had a very high ceiling with a very clean linear look . The bathroom is spare, but functional (great water pressure. Very comfortable and well appointed room. Great for business travelers, with a full desk and free internet. Service was flawless, bilingual and friendly. Restaurant/room service was reasonable and tasty (only had breakfast). So overall, a great stay. One of the cheaper places we saw. (though - across the street/ and near-by there seemed to be cheaper places which I'd consider staying at if we went again, if money were an issue). But, for the money, you get a very clean, modern room with good service and a decent location.

Chose Camellia from tripadvisor after finding the orchid fully booked. Gave them a call and everything was smooth sailin from the getgo. The service, especially from everyone at the front desk was excellent. The room was very clean, new and stylish -- oh and very quiet! Booked a deluxe with a great view on the eight floor for 65$ -- was more than i wanted to spend but in the end worth every penny. They've got a great view from the open terrace restaurant on the roof, and the included buffet breakfast was very extensive and very satisfying. about 10 minute walk to the river and about 5 minutes from the japanese restaurant mentioned in lonely planet(good sushi by the way) Booked tickets and tours through them and had no trouble cancelling when my girlfriend got sick; they were simply helpful in every respect. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Outstanding. The service, rooms and buffet breakfast were all amazing. We found the value for money at Camellia the best we experienced in Vietnam an would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious stay in Hue.
