Even though the hotel is less than 10 years old, they have just completely renovated the building from top to bottom. The staff was especially friendly, the complimentary breakfast was of good quality and variety. This was my second stay at this hotel and plan on returning onmy next trip to Halifax

We , my family of 2 adults and 2 childern, were very happy at the end of our stay.the rooms were clean and neat and the washroms were quite nice with towels and a tub. they have smoker and non -smoker rooms which is convinent . they are just a little PRICY but its all worth it!!! Also the pool is located at a werid spot but we didn't mind. Its definity the best place to stay! -kay

Although we only stayed one night, it was great. Staff, particularly the front desk, was great, helpful, and cheerful. The hotel has been remodeled in the past year, so everything is new and clean. It has a great location in Halifax, close to everything important. Great stay.

Free high speed internet, flat panel tv's, good views from the rooms, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, fold-out sofa... just about everything I could ever want was in this hotel room.

The Cambridge IS Halifax!What a great place to spend a week in the Maritimes! From the rooms to the food.. from the location to the incredible staff. This is what a vacation in Nova Scotia is all about. The rates are very reasonable but its the great staff that make you feel like part of that incredible province!

This hotel was very comfortable and clean. Very convenient to the Citadel and Harbor area. Within walking distance to many restaurants and things to do. Would recommend this hotel.

We very much enjoyed our recent two-night stay at the centrally-located Cambridge Suites Hotel in Halifax. The building is well-constructed and has been carefully looked after. Our 'Queen' suite (their entry/standard level) was clean and attractive with a very comfortable bed and lovely linens. The suite appliances were new and well integrated into the room. The bathroom was bright and very clean (although they could use a 'grip bar' in the bath - it would be pretty easy to slip with the relatively small rubber mat porvided). The housekeeping staff were consistently courteous and did an excellent job. The quality of the front desk efforts varied considerably from shift to shift. The two female staff members on the day shift were terrific - warm, helpful and competent. The night shift had some rough patches. For reasons not entirely apparent the hotel has a security system for wireless access straight out of LeCarre wedded to a feeble signal. Fortunately, the (related) restaurant next door had a well-designed accessible system. The 'continental' breakfast was a good implementation of this frequently-unpalatable genre. Laundry facilities in the basement of excellent quality. Parking was smoothly handled - we were lucky enough to grab an 'out front' slot which made loading and unloading very simple. Should their rates stay as competitive as they were this time we'd not hesitate to return.
