I was surprised to find out that I was not in the main hotel but given a key and sent around the corner. At least there was a lift. The bed consisted of two cots put together. The room was cold - no heat. Out of 6 days, there was 2 days of hot water. The TV was anchored to the wall and for $24 you could rent the remote control. If you wanted to use the safe, that was extra. There was an incredible view of the Mediterrean which made up for a lot. It rained for two days and the hotel room was freezing the whole time. The dining room was in the basement and consisted of a buffet set up earlier in the morning. The meat was greasy, but the roles and coffee were good. The staff was not very helpful when it came to answering any questions about tours of where to find tourist bureaus in Torremolinos and had even less information about Malaga.

i was given a ground floor room, didnt think hotels had ground floor rooms! meant i couldnt leave my balcony door open in the night as anyone could have just climbed into my room. the bathroom had a sewerage smell when i entered and had to open the window.also the breakfast was quite disgusting, the toaster was covered in a black gunge, there was one bottle of water for the 30 odd people who were there. i left without eating any...
