Great apartment, quiet, spacious and clean. It is a long walk from the town centre though, however there are a small group of shops nearby with most essentials you would need.

Recently Stayed (October) at the Cairns Queenslander Suites & Apartments with my 9 year old son - excellent value for money & 10 minute 9 yr old walk to the Lagoon swimming pool & $15 ride from the airport - Will definately stay again. Would hope they install Austar as the 4 tv channels aren`t upto much for kids to watch.

Best fridges in Cairns - all medium to large with a real freezer from our experience. Great for freezing food before heading bush!

Takes 20 to 30 minutes to walk to the centre of town depending on fast you walk, but is easy level walking along the boardwalk. Our flight got us in at 12.30 pm we had said we would arrive 1pm but on arrival we were told our room would not be ready until 2pm They have a luggage room so we put the bags in there & went for a walk. Staff were helpful booking our tours etc. Most tours pick up from the hotel. Units were clean & comfortable but the kitchen had a damp smell that went through everything so we did not store any food in the cupboards. Still not bad value if your on a bit of a budget & I probably would stay there again if we return to Cairns.

Well appointed, plenty of space, good kitchen gear incl electric frypan, real fridge (hooray) in quiet area of Cairns but not that far from the action in town.

we would stay at this hotel again if we were in Cairns ,a short walk one way to both shops and bus stops , the same in opposite direction to the esplanade for a stroll into town
