No evening meal - chef had walked out!If I'd known that they didn't have a chef, so evening meal ended up having to be a takeaway from the local chip shop, then I doubt whether I would have stayed here. Room was very clean and comfortable though I would say 'pricey' for its size. Only negative with room was a rather naf LCD Tv which the hotelier had attempted to upgrade to digital by glueing a freeview box to the underside of the rooms desk. Unfortunately mine was faulty, so picture was ok, but absolutely no sound - bit annoying in a £70.50 a night room! I think you should expect better!

Room ParityBooked 2 superior/executive rooms (8&15) and although charged the same rate, room 8 was far superior and led to embarrassment on our part that our inlaws room was inferior. My brother-in-law is 16st and was unable to fit into the tiny shower and had to leave without showering. I was told on departure that a connecting bathroom could have been opened for them but we were not informed before hand and this option was not offered upon room allocation (if you are designated room 15 ask about this option). We had complimentary slippers, our inlaws did not. The general cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Surfaces in the bathrooms were not clean nor were the insides of wardrobes nor were shelves on the stairs in the public areas. As an ex hotel owner I am perhaps a little picky but I would not have accepted these standards in my hotel. When we visit again in September we will use the far superior rooms at the Premiere Inn a short distance away (for 50% of the cost).

Good value in LlandudnoGood quality accommodation at a very attractive price through late rooms. They've been having a few problems as a chef left at short notice and the other was on holiday. Breakfast was buffet style but is usually cooked to order. Room 4 is opposite the Venue Cymru and does suffer a little from generator noise from that building. Otherwise very pleasant and staff very friendly and informative.

Cae Mor Hotel-One night stayThis was a good hotel and the only criticism was that the breakfast was over cooked and certainly not one of the best meals I have had.Other than that I would reccomend anyone to stay at this hotel.

Lovely Stay Once Again :)This is the 2nd time I have stayed at the hotel. The 1st time we stayed in a superior room. this time it was just a standard. to be honest the later was perfectly adequate for a lovley stay. I asked for a sea view and although it was through a side window it was perfect for the price. There were no spare night keys for myself and partner when we went out on the evening as they were all taken but the night porter said he would let us in upon our return. As said a very jovial (especially for that time of night) gentleman porter let us in and wished us good night. Benefits of hotel are:* Ample parking (and this is a big problem in LLandudno)* Lovely frinedly staff* Food lovely* Room prices good value *Quite end of the promenade so you dont have to walk far to get to pubs but dont have to listen to the noise if you are in bedOnly downside could be that the rooms can be a bit cold as they have high ceilings so perhaps take a nice dressing gown and slippers like I did on the 2nd visit! :)

A lovely hotel - though don't bank on wi-fi and tvreally nice hotel, on the sea-front. our 3rd floor room was nicely decorated, with lovely sea-view and gleaming bathroom. hot water took a while to get up there for baths etc, but was nice and hot when it did. comfortable beds, well-stocked hospitality tray. we were room-only so didn't have food there. reception staff very friendly. useful car park. an easy walk into llandudno, and a great base for exploring the area. only disappointment that the advertised free wi-fi didn't work anywhere we tried in the hotel, and the tv reception was poor. no news channels and ceefax often unreadable. Not a serious problem as we had other things to do, but would have liked to keep up with the sports news, check weather forecasts etc.

Pleasant stay.A very pleasant stay at the Cae Mor. The staff were friendly, helpful and hard working. We stayed on the DBB offer and this was excellent value for money. The food was gorgeous (I ordered Duck, which was described as being served with marmalade sauce, but it came with some sort of yellow leek sauce - But I was not too disappointed as it was delicious) Lovely view from room 13. Breakfast was very tasty and served with a lovely large pot of coffee!! I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to my friends.

Very clean and tidy ..excellent value for our money..just a short walk away from the theatre (meaning short) as the hotel is literally next door!!.. brilliant. Slept like a log in the lovely clean crisp white cotton sheets which were on the bed.

Poor good and serviceThe accommodation Ok, whilst the food was very poor. The eating time finished at 8pm and no real choice for vegetarians. The leek soup was just a bowl of cold highly salted green stuff. What should have been a goat cheese salad turned out to be big leaves with grit , no presention of food with some left over chunks of cheddar cheese and stelton, no sauces offered or dressing. Left both items and complaint about the quality of food. In the morning the breakfast other residents found mouldy bread for the taster, with mouldy looking prunes and no choice left at 8.00 when serving started at 7.30 am. On second day asked for breakfast - no veg. stuff, warm milk on table - not good. It took 20 minutes for cooked breakfast as i asked can i have my breakfast soon and was told by assistant that i had to wait as others were in front.... i left without eating as i needed to be in conference at 9.00. Very bad experience of food, whilst room OK. Asked for water and some biscuits again broken biscuits and sparkling water when asked for still... one bottle of still did arrive later. A bit better choice on second day...

Very nice hotel with very helpful staffWe enjoyed our stay at the Cae Mor. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. We stopped in a standard room which was reasonably sized. It was clean and tidy as was the bathroom. The only negetive was it could have done with some minor maintenance especially the bathroom window which rattled a lot when it was windy. Plus note though - we had a flat screen TV which i wasn't expecting! We didn't have any evening meals but the breakfast we had was satisfactory. The Cae Mor is in a good location next to the Venue Cymru so if you are going to see a play or concert it is an ideal hotel especially as it has a car park which is free of charge for guests. A variety of good shops, restaurants and pubs are all within 10-15 minutes walk. Overall we had a very pleasant stay at the Cae Mor.
