It is a 20 minute taxi ride east of Puerto Plata Airport which is located a few hundred miles southeast of Florida. For reference it is located approximately 60 miles south of the Turks and Caicos islands. Once at the Cabarete Lifestyle Resorts everything is within walking distance. And there are two ways to get around. One is to walk along the sidewalk by the road and browse through numerous shops and establishments. The other is to walk along the beach and approach all the shops and restaurants from the Ocean side of Cabarete.
