It sucks to no end. Pictures misleading.. no internet.Dirty rooms. Not enough amenities. furniture uncomfortable and staff needs to take a class on customer service as well as manners. all in all,it was a total bust. And it cost more than they tell u because they have all these fees that charge you at check in. Like a cleaning fee. Which is real funny since the rooms are nasty!!

Don't book at Cabana CayThe internet pics were beautiful but highly misleading. No lobby or staff to help when we checked in. We had to use a red phone to contact a different resort to get a code to get a room key. The room was beyond dirty. I am convinced that ppl checked out b4 us and the room was never cleaned. Hair in both bathrooms, floors not swept or moped. I have pictures. It was not fit to put your kids down in. We booked for a family of 4 but the very small table only had 3 chairs. The smoke free room had cigarette butts on the balcony and the living room rug had not been vacumned. After driving 8 hours we were ready to settle in but instead we had to drive back to the red phone and get a live person for help. He regreted that there was nothing he could do since they don't have housekeeping available after 4 pm. We cancelled our reservation with a full refund and had to go resort to resort til we found vacancy. We settled in 3 hours later with two very unhappy children. It was a nightmare. I rate this resort low for cleanliness and quality of the room. As for as value, quality of food or being family friendly we didn't stay to find out. If you don't care to walk 800 ft to the beach and if you don't care if your room is clean then try it out.

The room was nice but the furniture was very uncomfortable(sofa, chair). The resort had and excellent pool area but i didn't like the fact that drinks were not allowed in the pool area. When checking in the rental mgr ([...]) was nice nasty, she didn't tell us about the amenities on the property. I didn't like the fact that we had to pay an additional $91 for cleaning fee when we were responsible for taking out our trash,and cleaning the dishes before we check out. Oh yeah there is no towel service but you do have a washer/dryer in each unit so prepare yourself for laundry.Overall very nice property and i will probably stay there again.
