At Ca' Barba Venetian life opens up before you: from the morning coffee at the famous patisserie below the apartment to the evening aperitif - the classic spritz - in one of the many bars of Campo Santa Margherita. In the nearby neighborhood, there are plenty of shops to buy the basics or indulge your whims. The area is rich in Art History: the Accademia Gallery; the Frari Basilica which boasts works by Titian and Bellini; the Scuola Grande di San Rocco with its Tintoretto decoration; the magnificent 18th century Ca' Rezzonico rising from the Grand Canal, with its masterpieces by Tiepolo, Guardi and Canaletto.
