Just got back and we really liked this little hotel. The wife stayed busy in the casino, monkeys by the pool and room, good pizza and italian food, staff very helpful with tours, etc. Even got to see my favorite basketball playoff at their sportsbar. All in all worked perfect for us, highly recommend it!

Really enjoyed our stay at this little hotel. Nice staff, clean rooms, great food, convenient location. Would stay here again!

The property is great, the oceon view from my room was excellent, the rooms are very big and comfortable. The decoration of the rooms are pretty, the fresh flower bouquets in the hallways are beautiful. The pool and the pool area are very clean. The breakfast was also great. The two things I can suggest to this places is to have the bedding of the rooms checked for stain, the duvets had big stain in them, eventhough the room was clean it gave me the wrong impresion, also the bathroom door was black, full of stain, very bad looking, it needs a coat of paint. Everything also was perfect. The staff was wonderfull. Keep it up.

This was one of the most fun experiences we had in Costa Rica! Although it is a funky older hotel, everyday we were surrounded by monkeys, sloths, blue morpho butterflies, and other stuff we could not identify. The pizza by the pool is excellent and dinner at their other Grill restaurant (can´t remember the name) was a treat and better priced then most places in the Manuel Antonio area. The staff was really friendly and helped us with transportation and tour needs. We highly recommend zipline, whitewater rafting, park and horseback riding. We would definitely consider this hotel if we ever get to go to Costa Rica again!

"got to the hotel early and was permitted to check in about 1230. i stayed in bungalow and enjoyed the quiet, the brkfst was ok, el avion is a nearby restaurant and bar made from a c-123 cargo plane used in iran/contra....great place with a bit of history."

This hotel is probably one of the coolest I have ever seen from an ecology perspective. The hotel is terraced and your surrounded by jungle, wild orchids, birds, frogs, etc. You will have to drive through a complete crap-hole town and up a mountain to get there but the views from the top are phenominal. If you stay here, eat at the restaurant by the pool at least once. You must also try the Le Chat Negro "the black cat" restaurant, (its a 10 minute walk to the left down the hill) you can watch the iguana climb up the walls. Now, if your the adventures type drive to this hotel, you will cross three of the damn scariest bridges you have ever seen in your life but when you decide to venture out, go down the coast toward Dominical - there you will find the BEST black volcanic beaches of your life. count on 2+ hours for that.

"This was a very nice hotel. I was a bit concerned before we arrived because I did not know of the place. Clean ample room at a fraction of the price. It's right on the main road so driving and parking are good. (if you know the area ..enough said) The staff was super helpful, speaking perfect english and very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again and suggest if your destination is Quepos (Manuel Antonio) give it a shot. Spring for the extra 9 bucks a night and request a bungalow"

"Its a good hotel in a GREAT location. We got a Bungalow, not a regular room, and the difference was WORTH it!! We had our own balcony, beautiful view right in the jungle, and was nice and private. Monkey's came and played around our room. Unbeleivable. The front desk bends over BACKWARDS for you, on ANYTHING you need. They were unbelievably great. You can get a cheaper place to stay, but not with the service and amenities this place has. Highly recommend."
