Welcome to our "Bush Haven". Take time to experience the peace and tranquility in your own two bedroom (sleeps 4) self contained cottage set beside a dam abounding with frogs, yabbies and visited by woodducks. Allow the fresh air and clean water to restore your sense of well-being.
Discover the reflective magic of our wetlands. Dry or wet, it's a visual and spiritual feast. Drift under the arches of trees. Hear the murmuring of casuarinas. Feel the gentle breeze that ruffles the water. An azure kingfisher sweeps past searching for his lunch. A photographers paradise.
Greens of every shade and form, the giant grass-like sedges standing in the water, clouds of melaleucas, green but in spring covered in honey perfumed white flowers "snow in summer". Tall swamp mahoganies, the koala trees that draw this furred animal on their seasonal wanderings.
Nestled between the rugged hills of Wallaroo forest and the beautiful Williams River, two hours north of Sydney, close to the airport and rail, "Bush Haven" is ideally situated to all local attractions. Historical Morpeth and Maitland, 20 minutes travel, Port Stephens, the Myall Lakes or the vineyards are 40 minutes away.

Travelling north on Pacific Highway turnoff into Italia Road is 14.5k from roundabout at start of Raymond Terrace bypass. Then 4k on left opposite Lone Pine Road entrance to Wallaroo National Park.

Bird watching, an extensive bird list maintained with over 190 species identified. Native flora & fauna. Terrestrial orchids over thirty species. Kangaroos and koalas often seen.
