The room at the Burnsley is the largest hotel room I've ever stayed in. It is literally a one bedroom apartment. While we were only there for one night, it would be the perfect place to stay if you're in Denver for an extended period of time.
Date of Stay:
June, 2009
Very large rooms as the property used to be an apartment building. Rooms could use an upgrade. Large rooms with lots of space. Shuttle to downtown was nice. Rooms have not been really upgraded since it was an apartment building. Very nice to have a kitchen.

We stayed at the Burnsley over Christmas, 2008. The staff was great, the rooms were clean (the bathroom a bit dated), the bed comfortable, and overall it was a great stay! The view from our balcony downtown was incredible. It's an older apartment building revamped, so don't expect the Ritz, but it was a very nice place (and for us convenient to relatives just blocks away). We loved our stay there (and they even extended our stay for a day because of bad weather, at a lower rate!). We'll definitely return to the Burnsley! We loved it!

If you make your reservation based on their website, you are going to be extremely disappointed when you arrive. The woman at the front desk did not say one word to us during check in because she was on the phone. The rooms are disgusting."

the location was perfect for us, however we were told it was a boutique hotel. it was an old apartment building that was now hotel rooms. it was fine, but the tub was clogged (gross) and it just felt old and weird. the staff was not the most pleasant.

Clean, quiet andprivate. All in all it was a pleasant experience.

This all suite hotel was a great find. The location was central to everywhere I wanted to be, and the shuttle service was very handy. The front desk staff was friendly and always helpful and patient. Though the suite was a bit on the warn side, it was still very comfortable and HUGE! The kitchen was fully applianced, and there was a good sized dining area. The balcony was a really nice feature, and it was accessable from 4 rooms!! I never heard any sounds from surrounding suites. I felt right at home here and will make the Burnsley my headquarters whenever I'm in Denver.

Although dated, the suites are very large with kitchen, dining, living room, bath and bedroom. All very clean. In a residential area about 6 blocks from the capitol building. I appreciated that the bed didn't have the dirty old comforter of most hotels but a nice white duvet cover which was also covered top and bottom by clean sheets. Staff was friendly. Fresh fruit and cookies provided at front desk.

Room was very nice. Parking garage was not big enough.

Location. Mildew and peeling wallpaper in bathroom, fixtures poor, very shabby maintenance, light bulbs out, we changed rooms and only slightly better. Hollow core doors, light fixtures of Walmart sale quality, and kitchen appliances the cheapest on the market. Mildew in bathroom ceiling, peeling wallpaper.

Every staff member was friendly kind and overly helpful! Older but very nice and clean hotel. No charge for parking. Maybe need to change the carpet, but a great hotel all the same!

Convenient and friendly staff. Overall, a very nice older boutique hotel with no charge parking. Big room, nice TV and cool balcony.

Staff was very helpful and nice. Bathroom was very small. Carpet was loose, sticking up in areas.

The location was fantastic. The hotel was great. A nice room in a convenient location and basically all we needed for the trip. The staff was helpful, but uninformed.

Spacious, quiet, clean, attractive suite, and shuttle service to convention center. Outside appearance (dingy).

This hotel lived up to the reputation of being a true boutique hotel. The accommodations were very nice. Living room, dining area, kitchen, plenty of closet space, nice bedroom, bathrobes in the closet and pleasant bathroom. It would be a great place to stay if one were to spend a lot of time in Denver.

Large, clean, quite and comfortable rooms! Some furnishings were slightly outdated. Large, quite comfortable rooms with a dining room and kitchen. A very friendly staff who took very good care of us. We found the food very good and our entire stay a pleasant one!

The room was big and had the creature comforts of an apartment. Not very well maintained. Very dated.

Very large rooms, full kitchen, dining room. No blankets on beds.

Loved the live jazzy/piano bar in lobby. Food was excellent. Heard the maid knocking for 30 minutes straight (on every door on the hall) starting at 9:00 am. Clean. Friendly staff. Romantic stay here but hated the thin walls and the fact that there is not too much privacy at 9:00 am. We were awakened every time the maid(s) knocked on the doors beside us and above us. It was crazy! We also had not cold water. Bizarre - but we couldn't shower the next morning because it was scalding hot. Heard lots of banging on pipes, so I am assuming they were fixing the hot water heater or something.
