I enjoyed my stay at Bunratty. The location was great and the area around the hotel was unbelievable with a lot to do.

The Bunratty Castle Hotel provides comfortable, spacious rooms with an adequate full Irish breakfast. The pastries and fruit were excellent; the remainder was standard hotel breakfast fare. Service by the wait staff was exceptional. The in room bathroom was the largest and nicest of the five hotels we used during our visit. The hotel provides hourly courtesy pick up and delivery van service to Shannon air port, about fifteen minutes away.

Bunratty Castle Hotel was very comfortable, the room was plenty large enough for the two of us. The staff were helpful and very polite. We only snacked in the bar, but service and food were great! And, the setting, oh the setting, so calm, quiet and comfortable! And, you could walk to the oldest pub in Ireland. And, it was convenient to the airport!

My husband and I flew into Shannon. The hotel was only about a 15 minute ride if that. It is located on the grounds of the Bunratty Castle and Folkpark. The Folkpark is worth the stay right there! Amazing. We had a ball. Dirty Nelly's is also on the grounds. Had a blast there too. The hotel was extremely clean and beautifully kept. Bathrooms...top shelf! The only downfall was the breakfast, which was for free. I did not like it. But, then again I am picky...Hotel staff...great!

My husband and I drove our rental car to this hotel from Shannon Airport. It is a short ride and a nice way to break into the driving and experiencing the country. The room was very comfortable with a large bathroom. The room and the hotel itself were very clean. There is a nice pub in the hotel. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather and enjoyed an outside night cap with a view of Bunratty Castle at night. Location is excellent if you decide to attend the Bunratty Feast or Traditional Irish Night festivities as there is no need to move your car, you can walk! Breakfast buffet is included.

The room was quite large and comfortable. The hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating. The grounds were beautiful and there were several restaurants within walking distance. Bunratty Castle and folk park were also right on premise. There was easy acess to the major hwy I recommend this hotel

We checked into the Bunratty Castle Hotel as the last night of our trip before we flew out from Shannon the next morning. The room was comfortable and nice appointed. The check in process was easy and they were able to tell us (and check on) the hours and availability for dinners at the Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. Our only concern was the breakfast that was served in the morning as we felt the quality was below standard with the rest of the hotel

With the caliber this hotel represents,it did not have a concierge nor a staff that was knowledgeable about other sites to see or entertainment in the area. Bunratty Castle and park takes care of one day, but we were lost about what to do after that, and we couldn't find out much information. There were brochures in the lobby, but we needed to speak to someone, because we had questions. This may be minor in the big picture--it appears the hotel was booked regularly by a CIE tour, which is a good thing, and therefore probably would not need a concierge-- but for us it was very frustrating not to be able to talk to someone who knew the area.

Wonderful location, especially if you are without a car on a short stay. CAstle, folk park, restaurants, and shopping are within in very easy walking distance. Hotel itself is lovely, with old-world charm and modern amenities.
