We would highly recommend the Bulfinch Hotel to someone who is looking for a conveniently located hotel in Boston. We were able to go almost everywhere on foot once we checked in and parked the car in the nearby garage. The staff was friendly and courteous. The rooms were not large, but had plenty of space. The beds were extremely comfortable even though they were full size (and we are used to a king at home). The bedding was high quality and clean looking. We didn't have any problems with noise in the halls or hearing other guests through the walls. The fitness center was on the small side (1 stair master, 1 exercise bike and 1 treadmill), but they were all in working order. We didn't eat at the restaurant located in the hotel, but it looked nice. We dined in Little Italy, which is just around the corner, most of the time. There were many restaurants within a very short distance from the hotel, including Dunkin Donuts and Subway. We had a great stay for 2 nights in Boston and the Bulfinch Hotel was one of the highlights of the visit.

Flew in for a Boston Celtics game and we were pleseantly surprised by our stay here. Location was extremely convenient to both the arena, and downtown Boston. We walked everywhere, took taxis to/from airport. Room was beautiful. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Offered to help us find things to do for our day in town. Would stay here again!

The hotel was fine but for the price at $200.00 a night the least they could offer was breakfast. Most hotels in the area serve breakfast to guests, included in the room price. Had to call two days in a row for sugar and cream for the coffee because it was not left by housekeeping.

I liked the decor.

This property is quaint (but don't get me wrong, room size is fine), clean and friendly. My family stayed overnight and they treated us extremely well. If you are visiting Fanuel, the Government section, and especially if you're headed to the Garden, this location can not be beat! Don't park on the street unless it's Sunday...you WILL get ticketed. The garage two blocks away is $30/night. (This is general in Boston, not really specific to this hotel, but note that it doesn't have its own parking, I guess.) Looks like they have a lot of "green" initiatives at the hotel, which is nice. I can't really think of any negatives to say about this hotel, and that should say something positive in-and-of itself!

The room was small but wonderfully set up, and that is what matters the most. The staff was superb! I could not have asked for better! We had an unexpected health emergency and the staff was more than accomodating! It is centrally located to many attractions, most important if you are only there for a weekend. I felt quite comfortable there when I was out at night on my own. What a wonderful place to stay for first time visitors to Boston! I highly recommend this hotel and hope to stay there again in the near future!

My son and I were very happy with the Bulfinch. The central location -- walking distance to the MBTA, Quincy Market, Boston Common, and North End -- was terrific. Not in a scenic area of town (near Government Center) but the hotel building itself is a charming flatiron style. I had a fantastic breakfast at the restaurant onsite. The room was not large but was well equipped and newly decorated.

We stayed here for a Father/Son trip and had a great time. The rooms are small but that was OK because we only slept and rested there. It is in a very good location and very close to the Subway and Trains. Easy walking to area attractions.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location was centrally located. Walking distance to everything you would want to see on a long weekend trip. The room was a bit small, but it was modern and very clean. Definitely plan on returning to Boston and staying at the Bullfinch!

Room was too small. I was quite pleased with the overall friendliness, cleanliness and great martinis. We enjoyed all the meals and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Location: Very convenient. Close to three underground stations Room: Yes it was small, but nicely appointed. I hate hotel rooms when you can't open a window but I'm trying to get over that. The lovely big flat screen TV didn't work. We reported it the first evening, and they apologized but said they couldn't do anything that evening. They'd bring in another the next day, but in spite of several conversations, it didn't happen either of the next two days which was as long as we were there. This was a pretty big negative! Restaurant: The Flat Iron Grill was better for breakfast than for dinner, but the one dinner we ate there was OK. Price: Hotels in Boston seemed very expensive, and this one seemed just a little less s Return? I think we'd go back is we needed a Boston hotel, mostly because we now know the Bullfinch

The Bulfinch was located in great location for first time visitor. There were many things to do in walking distance from the hotel. The Bulfinch Hotel did not live up to the expectations I had. I am stunned that they can get the price we paid for such a tiny room and bath with no view. The location was a plus and I was glad we only stayed the one night.

Probably the most comfortable bed and pillows I have ever slept on in a hotel. Room was a little small but I'm sure it had a lot to do with the shape of the hotel. Food in the Tappas Bar was excellent and the service was great. I would not hesitate to stay there again.
