This was a spur of the moment decision. We were extremely lucky to have chosen this hotel. View, location, hospitality were well received.

Great location easy to get around. Alcohol beverages price high. Very pleased with the whole stay.

I found the Buena Vista Palace as an alternative to spending $ a night at Disney. Basically put, I have few regrets and am glad I saved $+ for my 3 night stay. Below is a summary. Pros - Modern decor both in the lobby and rooms. Reminded me of some posh and modern rooms I've stayed in NYC. Includes modern furniture, including an Aeron chair, light decor, even aeromatics pumped into the lobby. - As close to "Disney" as possible without Disney prices. Hotel is across the (usually not too busy) street from Downtown Disney and the Saratoga Springs resort. You could take one of the Disney buses from Downtown Disney to one of the other resorts. - Nice, clean hotel for a good (great?) price Cons - Sounds weird, but for such a nice place I couldn't figure out why the shower pressure was so low. I wouldn't say it was a trickle, but it wasn't like most (nice) hotel showers that put out strong pressure. -Being off site from Disney. I admit, in the future I may forgo the savings just to stay on site. There's just something about the complete Disney experience you don't get by staying off site, even if its across the road. - While the Buena Vista resort offers bus service to the parks every 30 minutes on the half hour and hour, it was unreliable, sometimes being 15 minutes late. On our last day we waited 45 minutes only to find the bus was "broken down". Disney buses are more plentiful and run much more often. Also consider that the Buena Vista buses also pickup people from other hotels. Again, good hotel for the price as long as you don't mind being off site from Disney.

paying for internet that did not work half the time and buses that were full all the time , bothered me because it was an extra charge ...I would have preferred to have had it all on the orginal bill. the rooms were great size and beds were good and comfortable...

It was a nice hotel well worth the price and star level. The food prices were a little pricey.

This was a great spot to stay at, I was there on business but it was so refreshing to be able to walk to Downtown Disney in the evening and enjoy the ambiance. I especially liked Raglan Road by the way, great irish music and dancers! The hotel has a Outback Restaurant which was fabulous and I enjoyed their mini mart, great for snacks and take out. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel. My room was clean, large, comfortable and everything worked well.

Perfect location. Walking distance to Downtown Disney shops. Shuttle service (every 30 minutes) to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Epcot. Short car ride to various convenience stores and dining options.

Convenient, great atmosphere. Hotel food was very expensive. This is the first time we stayed there and had the comforts of a resort and the relaxing we needed.

Yes, I would stay here again. Friendly staff, clean room, lovely hotel, and easily accessible to all attractions. The only negative remark would have to be about the Sport Bar and Restaurant. Its needs updating. Seemed run down.

The shuttle was great to all the parks. Short walk to Downtown Disney. Kooks sports bar in the hotel had a good happy hour. No airport shuttle to or from hotel. Be prepared for a $60 taxi ride.

The Buena Vista Palace was amazing- much better than I anticipated based on some reviews! The hotel was clean and uncrowded. The room was very spacious, and we had a lovely view of the lake. All hotel employees were extemely friendly and helpful- the vallets actually ran to get your car every time! The hotel provided free internet and free bottled water (2 bottles every day) plus free in-room coffee. The pools were heated and were nice and warm, and the jacuzzi was large and clean. There was a playground for the kids and a video arcade as well. The negatives- The bus service to the Disney parks was a shared bus between several hotels and stopped at all of the parks, so the trip was long. We only used the service once, and decided it would be easier to use the rental car, although we did have to pay for parking. Food was fairly expensive at the hotel, with buffet breakfast for one adult and 2 children costing $50. There is a shop on site where you can buy a la carte items for a much better price. Overall, this hotel was terrific, and I would definitely stay there again. We go to Disney every year and normally stay at the Polynesian, concierge level. I would have to say that staying at the Buena Vista Palace will be on our agenda again next year!

My son and I stayed here for 3 nights. Very comfortable beds, clean rooms. Balcony is tiny. Meals overpriced and food just okay. If you stay here, eat elsewhere in Orlando where there are plenty of better dining choices. Skip the valet parking and park for free in the lot. Free bus transportation to the theme parks worked well for us. We'd stay again as long as the price is right; however next time we'll skip the hotel's pricey cafes and restaurants. (I don't mind paying for quality food, but this wasn't worth half what we paid). Staff was friendly and helpful. Might stay again, but will consider other hotels.

The atmosphere! The bathroom was a little dingy (dirty grout). We really did enjoy our stay here at the hotel. Far exceeded our expectations. I would stay here again.

Everything from the Palace was great! Except the parking. When we got there the Valet was 16.00 dollars which is good for some people but i'd rather just park my own car and walk save some money. When you park there the spaces available are way out about 1/2 mile from the building. the spaces closer to building are reserved for valet or convention center parking. As a whole though the experience was Awesome your right on the doorstep of the park.

Front staff was very friendly. Location was great if your plans include Downtown Disney/ Pleasure Island which is walking distance. I requested a king bed and recieved a larger than what I would consider normal room size that included two couches, desk, and small balcony as well as a very beautiflul and comfortable bed. The resort fee included free internet plus two chilled bottles of water in the refrigerator. Also waiting in the closet were two plush robes. The pool area could use a little updating but overall was an excellent stay. As for the bikers not welcome review below, I am a soccer mom, the parking is in back for everyone, but you can get to your room after check-in via many doors around the resort. They hold a credit card for 75 that is not charged if you don't damage or steel anything. I was told of this transaction in a pleasant fashion and was not offended.
