Rooms were very clean and hotel seems to have had a recent update. Free and ample parking. Small free Continental breakfast was adequate. Air conditioning was great and staff very friendly. Old area of downtown.

Not the greatest location and outside needs updating, but rooms were clean, bathroom was clean, and all newly renovated so that it was nice on inside. About 7 blocks up is the AZ Center where there are many restaurants. Good location for ballpark and Chase Field. Close to Hard Rock Cafe, too!!

The hotel was right on Van Buren and was easy to find with plenty of free parking. The room was acceptable, clean, enough space for us. Everything in the room seemed to be in good working condition - most importantly the air conditioner. The bathroom looked to have been recently redone so it was clean and in good shape. I must stress that this place was great for the money with respect to the condition of the room and the fact that it was only a 10-15 minute drive to the airport. We stayed for only one night and flew out early in the morning; getting to the the airport was no problem at all. The area surrounding the hotel did not look like the best place to hang out in but we had no problems and it seemed safe enough. The US Airways Center (Phoenix Suns) is somewhat close by but most businesses were closed when we went out looking for a bite to eat at 8pm. An overall great value.
