Quick check in. Quiet location for being in heart of downtown area. The room had recently been up-graded and was clean.

For the age of the hotel it was pretty decent. I found 2 bugs in the shower and the room had a weird smell.

The service here is excellent, and the rooms are very clean. The bed is a little to soft for my bad back, but it is still a nice bed.

Rude middle eastern operator, could barely be bothered to check us in. Refused to put through an emergency phone call from another member of our party who was staying elsewhere -- told them "call back later". Completely overpriced for quality of room. TINY room, VERY uncomfortable bed. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

We were in the location for Mother's Day to enjoy the Hot Air Balloon Festival. The room was way overpriced and the pool water was green. I specially booked this hotel and called the hotel directly to confirm it had a pool...not once was I informed that it was not available. The children were very disappointed that the pool was disgusting. We would have taken our camper and stayed for 1/3 the cost. The room smelled horribly like smoke even though it was designated as non-smoking. We had to open the windows and doors (a little chilly) to avoid allergy/asthma issues. Because of the smell, we stayed at our friends camper until late and upon our return...there was not one parking slot availabe on the premises.

The office staff was friendly, housekeeping was good, towels were a little stained, but clean.

Just wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you. We had a very pleasant stay!

We stayed in the "newer" section of the inn and the room was clean and nice. The pool was closed. The check-in and check-out was easy. The area around the inn seemed okay. I sensed no danger for my family. The free "breakfast" that was advertised consisted of orange juice and "very" small muffins. There was also coffee. It was NOT a breakfast. This was the most disappointing part of the stay. My little girls like breakfast and were very disappointed in eating two small muffins and orange juice in the cramped office space. The stay was okay, just not all that it was advertised as.

The Budget Inn Walla Walla is exactly what the name says, 'a place to sleep if you're on a budget.' Its a great spot for folks who just need a place to sleep and will be doing other things all day. We went to Walla Walla for wine tasting, and due to its location (2 blocks away from Main Street and right next door to the Seven Hills Winery), and our busy schedule, the Budget in was perfect. Weekend rates seemed a bit high for the quality of the rooms (they were clean, but 'well used'), but the weekday rates were very reasonable. It looked like the other wing of the motel was newer than the one we stayed in. If you're able to, I'd suggest requesting to stay in the 'new wing' of the motel. The one we stayed in was fine, but you may be able to pay the same price for a slightly nicer room.

Clean, comfortable. Clean, comfortable. Went to son's graduation at a college nearby, so this hotel served its purpose.

The problem is with the plumbing; it is noisy when used in other rooms, the toilet barley flushes, took 8 times for success.

trash under desk from previous occupant; tub not cleaned after our use; no coffee in the room; coffee in lobby cold; furniture nice; parking lot ICY;

Close to downtown city center. Construction outside and inside projects need doing. Good for an overnight stay with microwave and refrigerator. Not new, but clean. Chemical smell strong from recent carpet upgrade.

Rooms were not what I would call really clean behind cabinets and the TV there was debris.. They were supposed to have the office opened at seven o'clock for coffee and whatever they considered a continental breakfast but they didn't open until 730 and the person who opened the come out in their pajamas which I don't consider very businesslike. There was no coffee in the rooms. This is probably the last time I will stay there.

We stayed at the Budget Inn based on a travel website review and we were really happy with the value compared to other hotels in Walla Walla. The location is great. You can walk to downtown and it is right next to the swank Marcus Whitman and restaurants. Be sure to ask for the new wing. Our big room was very clean, it even smelled new and the bed was very comfortable. Do not expect the Hilton, but if you are looking for basic accommodation that is clean and simple this is a good choice.

Nothing. Door didn't shut. This hotel was dirty. The door wouldn't shut unless you slammed it about 10 times then the dead bolt still didn't work. The toilet didn't flush and when I called the front desk they said to look outside the door and there was a plunger there. So they must of known it didn't flush right.

Just plain yucky! Towels stunk, service was bad, pool is in parking lot, carpet was gross and showing cement underneath. Do not stay here!

Typical motel, nothing special, but they do have a new wing, which we are lucky to be in. This wing looks modern, and is very clean. The room has a refer, microwave, blow dryer, iron, free wi-fi, and a big tv with free cable. It is a very fair price all considered, and is in a good quiet location with historic downtown district nearby (we walked around a bit........).

They held breakfast for us until we made it downstairs. No complaints. The hotel was very clean and looked like it had been recently remodeled. There was even a mini fridge and microwave in room and free WiFi.

Stayed here for 6 days in the summer of 2008 while in Walla Walla for a wedding and family get-together. The place was clean and management was very accommodating. They were painting and renovating and really seemed interested in making it even more attractive and welcoming. It was right in town (just a block from the pricey Marcus Whitman Hotel) and we could walk to everything. Other relatives stayed in much more expensive places but I was very happy that I saved a lot of money and still enjoyed my stay at the Budget Inn. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone.
