Nice older style motel. Room was not large but well equipped with two very comfortable Queen size beds, workdesk with chair, one round table with two chairs, dresser, small refrigerator and wall style air conditioner. Room was clean and beds were made daily and towel service was good. Staff were very helpful in locating great places to eat and made our stay very enjoyable. The manager had just finished installing WIFI and we were on of the first to be able to take advantage of that unadvertised plus.

My sister and I stayed at the Budget Host while in Gettysburg, Pa. The price of the room was a great bargin, the staff was over the top, any thing we needed was taken care of. the room was clean, bed and pillows very comfortable. The location was ideal. I would stay here any time I come to Gettysburg and tell my friends and relatives.

Our recent trip to Gettysburg was very enjoyable. This hotel is right in the middle of historic Gettysburg, within walking distance of many restaurants, shops and museums (and the battlefield as well, if you are up to a bit of a haul). The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The room was moderatly clean and we felt safe in it. It was worth the money, good idea for the budget traveler who isn't fussy about extra amenities.

Arrived late afternoon, room was clean and ready for use. After traveling for about 8 hours it felt good lie down and relax. Bath room was spotless there was an abundance of hot water. A small refrigerator was very convient to store my medication and Insulin. All appliances work well (TV, Air conditioner, lights, etc). Resturants and Shops all in walking distance. If I were to travel too this area this motel would be my first choice. Highly recommended.

The rooms were very very dirty. Our sheets were not changed the entire time that we were there. There was a black spot on the sheet and it stayed with us all four days. They bathroom was very dirty and had mold growing in the shower. But everyone has their own opinion.

We had reservations for Friday through Monday. I called the hotel Friday night to say we would be in Saturday because of car trouble. They said they may have to charge for friday and I said that would be OK. When we arrived saturday night we were told they had given the room away because they ran my card and it was declined. I had over $1000 in the acoount and they didn't even call me to inform me of this. We had to find another hotel (flea-bag to say the least)to stay in, after having driven over 4 hours. I've had problems with Orbitz a number of years ago and right now I don't think I would even recommend your site to anyone. They were very nasty to myself and my husband when we called them to try and rectify the situation, they wouldn't even reccomend another hotel we might try or try to make any sort of ammends. I've used other travel sites and have been EXTREMELy satisfied with their service and deals such as 4 & 5 star hotels for the price of much lower places.

The hotel needs to be cleaned. The floor is very dirty. It was not vaccumed. Someones fingernails were underneathe the bed for 4 days and they were not ours. There was mold on the shower wall. It is not a clean place.

PERFECT for walking the town, could not be better. Room was clean, although could benefit by renovation. We stayed there only for a night stay, great rest (which it was) and right in the center of town.

The Budget Host was a good place to stay for the cost, we could walk to pretty much everything and local attractions were only a few minutes away.

The Budget Host Three Crowns Motor is very quaint. Probably built in the 50s and not updated since. Very friendly staff that was helpful with information and suggestions. It is located on the outskirts of the downtown area, but within walking distance of several resteraunts and attractions. It's a very good value if you don't mind the dateness of the place. It was fall, so can't comment on the pool. Very clean. Small dorm size frig in room. Window AC unit. All in all, we enjoyed our stay - we went to see Gettysburg, not stay in a hotel room.

The Budget Host was a great value. The room was cozy and quiet. It was located away from the busy street. The staff was friendly and helpful. Housekeeping did a great job on the room. The staff had some great opinions on the local attractions. The room was nicely spaced with two beds, table, nightstand, and dresser. There was even a mini-fridge in the room. The battlefield was within walking distance and/or a short drive. Within walking distances were restaurants, attractions and shopping.
