When you stay with us in our country setting, you will be relaxed and refreshed for the next day of your stay in Lake Geneva, or your journey. That is because we have taken commercial out of our motel and replaced it with personal. Feel free to use our almost three acres for recreation such as volleyball, badminton, picnic area or just plain relaxing. Small pets may be allowed upon request. On a warm summer day a dip in our outdoor heated pool may be very refreshing. This is the largest outdoor pool in Lake Geneva so you have plenty of room to enjoy yourself. This Caribbean blue pool with the Diplomats logo in the center is 20 feet wide and 50 feet long. It is kept at a constant temperature of 82 degrees F, which is perfect for summer swimming or relaxing.

Location Description:

Highway 50 to Wells Street, 1 mile South. -- Directions -- Take I-94 to Highway 50 Kenosha-Lake Geneva west exit. Proceed west approximately 30 miles. Once in Lake Geneva the third light is Wells Street. Turn left on Wells for approximately 1 mile. Motel is on right.

We stayed here because we attended all four days of Country Thunder in Twin Lakes, WI. The location was fabulous as it had close access to Hwy. 12 to get us to the event. It did not require us to drive through downtown. The room was large and had a king bed, sofa sleeper, upholstered chair, table, frig and microwave. It was fairly quiet until the last night when the "neighbors" got back from Country Thunder at 3:00 AM. However, the noise was short-lived. The bathroom is separate from the sink which was nice. We found, though, that you can't have the bathroom light on and run a hairdryer at the same time. This caused us to blow a current breaker. Also, ice is available in a vending machine so bring your quarters! At least ice is available onsite. Coffee is available in the smokey smelling lobby. You may want to bring your own mini-coffee maker. I thought the price was a bit high but the rooms were very large and clean. Our room did not smell like smoke. I would not stay there if you are looking for a resort setting but if you are looking for simply a room where you can sleep, I would recommend it.

they exceeded our expectations... from the clean foyer, friendly staff (everyone impressed us with their attention/pride to the job), and my 3 and 5 year old really enjoyed it - Beds were nice and the rooms are very quiet.
