From previous reviews we understood that major renovations were going on. Therefore we were prepared and stayed there for it's location and new rooms. Used the new fitness room and it was great! Workmen everywhere.

Absolutely nothing. Pool under construction, entire hotel under construction, air conditioning broken, many vending machines/ice machines broken, unhelpful staff. Very misleading in the accommodations- did not mention that hotel was under construction, pool was closed, restaurant and bar closed, air conditioning broken, vending machines and ice machines broken except on one floor, unhelpful staff, insecure premises, etc.

The hotel has undergone a major room renovation. The guest rooms are bright, colorful and spacious. Everything in the room was very classy. Great staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The location is excellent for shopping at Lenox Mall and upscale dining. I will certainly return to this hotel when I am in Atlanta

They should tell you online or by phone when you're booking that parking is * a day. I hated that!!

This hotel is horrible. Completely under construction! I would not recommend this to anyone. And don't even think about taking it up with the manager [...]. He shouldn't even be working at a Super 8. Read all the reviews and you'll see what this place is about. Seriously read the other reviews.

This hotel is under construction so it is possible to pass the entrance and not notice.

i stayed in room 436. The window faced the parking deck-not exactly peaceful and quiet--but, I did sleep. The bathroom had pink mold--otherwise known as Serratia --a bacteria. This was most unfortunate and likely due to the very bad moulding job/repair. The bathroom also had a modreate foul odor-like bad plumbing.I did not use the shower. It was late, I was tired --12 hours on the road. The room did not have an odor. The bed and bedding was very nice.

After reading the reviews on this hotel, I was a little nervous. When we pulled up to the hotel it was under construction, like I had read (but didn't understand why Orbitz didn't post the conditions while booking the room). They only had two elevators working in the entire hotel, keep in mind that they had 8 levels of hotel rooms. So at times we were waiting for an elevator for a little over 15 minutes. The staff were friendly and completely customer focused, every single member that I spoke to. The room by far was the best part! Beautiful room, newly remodeled, comfy beds, nice cozy bathroom..just very nice and very clean. Location was perfect around a variety of restaurants and shops, right across the street from the Lennox and Phipps Mall and one block from the Marta, Target and Grocery Store where right behind the hotel. If and when I go back to Atlanta I will be staying at this hotel.

The fitness area is fantastic! The pool looks like it will be beautiful when complete. The hotel is under construction. The outside doors are not secure, so that anyone can come in and out of the hotel anytime of day or night.

Wonderful hotel, facilites and room-wise. Quiet. Terrible 15 parking fee per car in hotel garage. 10 minute wait for parking attendant. Would not deliver towels...had to get them myself from front desk. Fitness center in great solarium over pool but no steam room or sauna.Website says fitness center open 24 hours, but really 6-10 or something like that. Nice gift shop/convenience store with lots of Starbuck's selections. Comfortable room temperature. Hassle to enter/leave hotel due to traffic loading and unloading and valet.

It was right next to the train station which made it easy to get to the action; but being in Buckhead kept us in a relaxed an quiet area of town. The Lenox Mall was right across the street and there were restaurants everywhere. It was perfect with a wonderful nighttime view of the skyline.

Beautiful bathroom fixtures. Exterior under construction. Hard to get into parking lot, but parking was free, and the rooms were lovely. It was quiet, and felt very safe. I would certainly stay here again.

We visited in July 07. The room was clean. The only thing I was dissapointed with was the balcony view. we will visit Atl many more times and will probably return to this hotel.

It was our wedding weekend for my Fiance and I, and my first visit to Atlanta. When I got to the hotel, I was impressed with the welcoming staff and clean lobby. After checking in, I proceeded to my room and I was relieved that the room was clean and cool considering the high temperatures outside. After a few hours, spent touring the lovely city, we got back and noticed that the AC was broken, and it was a relief that we were going out on the town with friends that night, however when we came back, the temperature outside was not so different as the temperature in our room. Fast forward, the entire weekend at the hotel was uncomfortably warm and unfortunately there was nothing even the staff could do to help this unbearable situation. There was no ice machine on our floor and the one below ours, my poor fiance had to the second floor and it is not something you want to see a loved one do on vacation at that. I did not sleep much because of the heat the morning of my wedding ceremony and I was really glad to leave and head home to Toronto. I really hope that the hotel can invest in a better HVAC system. I loved the location and the cleanliness of the hotel but the above mentioned issue, is enough to make us think twice about staying there again. Thank you.

Comfortable room, and great helpful staff. Currently under renovation. This is a nice hotel that will be excellent when renovations are finished. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, nicely furnished with updated features. The renovations were not intrusive, no 6 am carpenters etc. Highly recommend the hotel.

At check-in, we were told the rooms are slated for updating soon. Once in our room, I understood the unsolicited apology. Ceilings are damaged, interior doors stripped of facing in places, windows are dirty. Pool was dirty immediately after ""cleaning"". Staff very friendly, layout of public spaces a bit confusing. MARTA trains nearby a big plus. Hotel needs serious upgrade and even lower rates seem too high for the lack of room quality. Parking in nearby garage charge is at substantial additional cost.

Great locationa and the room was awesome - all high end amenities. Was noisy due to outside construction, even from the executive level. NOTE: Quiet until about 7 AM. Evenings were fine.

Very clean room, comfortable beds. Under construction/remodel, difficult entry and exit. Surprisingly disinterested front desk clerks. Little if any eye contact. Did not feel overly welcomed. hotel is in desirable location, and staff should have been better.

Our stay was very short, we were in Atlanta to attend a wedding, we had no time for anything else. I found the buffet breakfast a little pricey, would have preferred to be able to order from a menu.

We went to Atlanta to attend a wedding, we had 4 days to snoop around town and had a blast visiting, the georgia aquadome, the olympic park and coca cola museum. The hotel staff was really friendly and offered a shuttle sevice wich came really handy since we did not know the city at all. The beds were really comfy, the bathroom spacious. We had a problem with the toilet in our room but the offered to relocate us immediatly, and gave us all the time in the world to do it. The only downside was the renovations but that should not be a no-stay factor because they were not working at night and so the stay was very relaxing even though we never stayed at the hotel during the day.
