Convenient for travel. The internet access, desk and chair were helpful. It's near highways and a shopping mall. Nothing unique or charming, but fine for business travel.

The Brookwood Inn was a lovely hotel nestled amid trees near Pittsford, NY. The Erie Canal is a short walk / bike ride away with a large mall less than half a mile away, a quaint upscale town a half a mile the other way and very convenient freeway/thruway access nearby. The hotel includes an indoor pool, a very small exercise area (a few ellipticals and two treadmills) and a small outdoor patio off the pool area. There is one restaurant on the premises - better for dinner than breakfast. The room was lovely, clean and the bed was the most comfortable I have slept in in a long time. The staff was friendly and efficient. I would recommend this for the business traveler/ or the golf enthusiast. If you are taking the family for vacation, there are several drawbacks that would hinder the group experience: the bikes available for rental (4) were not kept up well, nor were there a variety of sizes. There is a bike rental place nearby that would be better. The exercise room doesn't have free weights or a Uniiversal, so cardio is the only option available. Continental breakfast is not available, so there is not the option for a grab-n-go breakfast... one has to have breakfast in the dining room. The area is lovely and anyone would enjoy the amenities Pittsford/Rochester has to offer. Kids wouldn't have as much fun at this hotel.

Wonderful decor Room had damp floor and pool was cold. This hotel is nestled in a very peaceful setting perfect for adults to relax or business people. The decor was upscale and it had nice public areas. We the pool was very cold; however, the hot tub was nice. The fitness area also looked excellent. Great for business or adults no very child friendly. The breakfast was $10.00 (hot and cold buffet) but we ate elsewhere since they would have charged our three year old the same price. Overall, nice hotel and friendly staff.

Location Bathrooms are outdated, Swimming pool needs upkeep. Great location, great value. Staff is not overly friendly but they are welcoming. Fantastic workout room. The swimming pool tiles are gross and need to be cleaned. The hot tub jets were not functioning properly. The room itself was nice (flat screen tv and great layout). Bathroom should be remodeled (it looks dirty and moldy). Need to update the in room coffee service as well.

Easy access to interstate 490. Wonderful hotel, a little older but refurbished beautifully and well maintained. Excellent service, very clean! The grounds were spectacular and the proximity to the the quaint village of Bushnell's Basin and the Erie Canal (a block away)were great. Priceline is the best!

The hotel has met my expectations. I would truly use priceline again.

The hotel was clean and beautiful. I could not get a clear internet signal from my room and was often kicked off the internet. Pittsford is a charming town. This hotel has easy access to the interstate and is minutes from downtown Rochester. We enjoyed our stay.

Location. Pool wasn't heated (enough). Restaurant too expensive compared to many excellent area restaurants. Nice hotel. Best suited for businessmen with deep pockets. I would not pay full price to stay.

One of the cleanest hotels that we have stayed. The bed was extremely comfortable. Nothing. This is our third stay at this hotel. Two times,we used Priceline. This hotel never disappoints me. The staff is very professional. The star rating goes way beyond the lobby. Which, in some hotels is not true. Everything about this place is what should be expected when staying in a 3 star hotel.

Surprisingly good restaurant. I am returning each week to this hotel for business because each time I'm here I find one more reason to want to come back.

So easy to get to, right off the highway. The staff was very helpful in giving us directions to Lake Ontario. I wasn't crazy about seeing a big dog in the lobby, but they were walking out.

This hotel was beautifully situated on the Erie Canal in a small and quaint town right off the interstate. The staff was very helpful in suggesting a dining opportunity outside the hotel even though the hotel had its own restaurant.

The best towels at a hotel that we have ever used! Great location and facility. Room size was larger than most and the towels.

Convenient location, clean, free wireless internet. Nothing negative. I'd stay again in a heartbeat. For the price I paid it's far and above comparably priced places.

Nice neighborhood, easy access to highway. The restaurant in the hotel was really expensive so we went elsewhere for meals. But it was in a really great location - further out from Rochester, but a nicer, upscale area and it was only a few short minutes from the main highway of Rochester.

The location and grounds were excellent and the hotel had plenty of parking. The swimming pool was too cold for this time of year. My only complaint was that the swimming pool should have been heated. The room was large and the beds were comfortable. There was an elevator conveniently located near our room for exit to the parking lot. I would stay there again as well as recommend it to friends.

Windows and wallpaper needs to be replaced. Staff knew nothing about local restaurants.
