Our Stay at Broadway ManorIt was perfect and excellent value, rare to see a hotel with quality rooms and car parking facilities

The hotel location is excellent, close to all of the great sights of San Francisco. But because of the location, PARKING IS TINY!!!! There are definitely a lot more rooms than parking spots and the parking spaces are tiny, so don't bring a large car on vacation. There is one elevator, which is very old and it broke during my visit so carrying luggage up and down stairs was not fun. Overall, it was just OK, but for the price it was definitely a good deal because of location!

Good price, clean. Poor internet. Fine for the price but needs to work in better internet access.

Fantastic stay - on a busy corner but rooms were well insulated from the sound with thick glass and heavy doors. Room was clean, elevator up to 1st and 2nd storey helped those with heavy luggage. Close to Fisherman's warf, union square, lombard st (only 15mins walking to in all directions). Room was clean and new TV with free wifi internet. No breakfast included but Subway is only a 3mins walk away.

We got this room at an unbeatable price and had a good experience overall. This is not a luxury hotel or anything, but it is perfect for people on a budget who aren't picky. The room was clean, beds comfortable, free parking was a huge plus in this neighborhood, and the location was perfect - easily accessible to almost any neighborhood in the city.

Nice room, better than expected. Look old outside and parking space is limited, AC is not working well. Ambience is average, good location. Free parking is a plus, but the parking space is limited. Overall, satisfy.

Charged $0.50 for calls without response. Impossible to regulate hot/cold water. Noisy room on second floor near Van Ness Street. Overall didn't see why there is AAA approval.

It's in a great location if you want to see the sights of SF without paying a lot for a hotel. We walked to Union Street which has good night life and took a short cab down to the warf and North Beach.

Nothing. Disappointing. Larger size motel room. All it had was a bed, a dresser, fridge, and microwave. Basic low grade furniture. Though the bed was comfy. Noisy. On a main thoroughfare.

The Broadway Manor Inn is an average hotel for the price. The location was great. It's a short drive to Fishermans Warf, around the corner from China Town, Lombard Street etc. Parking is tricky. It's free which is not easy to find, but there isn't always enough to go around. Pulling into the underground parking lot, most cars will scrape bottom. Get there early & use the side gate off Van Ness or the small lot in front of the office. My primary complaint about the room was the smell. It smelled damp and musty, so much so that I bought a can of air freshener to cover the odor. The other complaint I had was the bathroom. It was very small and did not have a working exhaust fan, which may have been the cause of the damp, musty smell. There is an old fan with the power cord dangling but no where to plug it in. If you're not looking for a luxury hotel rather a clean place to sleep after sight-seeing, then this is a good choice. The staff was helpful and pleasant.

one night stay. Had a late check in which worked out great but the parking spots were TINY!!! Although a busy location we slept great. The renovated rooms were great! Clean and updated.

A bed and a bathroom. Noise, price -too expensive, only street restricted parking. I could do a lot better with another hotel and advanced reservation.

We didn't stay in the room much as we intended on sightseeing the entire time we were there. It is located about 15 minutes (drive) from Fisherman's Wharf...the 20 minute walk that the staff told us would get us to the Wharf was more like half an hour with, of course, lots of hills! The room was small and smelled musty. The bathroom was old but we had hot water and decent beds to sleep on. Parking is AWFUL! Tiny spots...trying to get a van or truck in was almost impossible.

It had running water. It was not a hotel. It was a motel right out of 1963. If you like street noise, if you like to hear people walking past your door on an outside balcony at all hours, if you really want to get to know your neighbor, if you like that old motel smell, this is the place for you.

Staff was nice and friendly, they told us how to get around on the local bus and recommended a city tour package which we really enjoyed!

It had a very spacious room. It had a very small TV. and it was located to far away from the bed, and the remote didn't work, and the color wasn't working properly. It was very deceptive, the rooms were nicer then expected, very new, modern and very comfortable. Checking in was easy and the counter person was very helpful in suggesting ways to get around in the city. The elevator was working, however it made an awful sound while in motion. I would recommend it to someone.

The restraunt attached to the building was quaint with breakfast at a good price. We were within walking distance to the Warf(1.7 miles), six dollars by cab and just over two miles to the Exploritorium and other museums or the beach. The person that we experienced at the desk was helpful and gracious. The room was clean and the beds were comfy with a comforter like home on them. We couldn't have asked for a better place for either comfort or price per night. We will return to the same place the next time we go to San Francisco anytime!

To be positive about the experience, its not very far from all the prime locations. The room was under construction and was not appealing at all. there was no space for parking and the hotel workers were rude. The parking situation was horrible. There was no room to park, especially if you drove anything larger than a compact car. The room we stayed in was under construction. I walked into my room and it was very standard, not appealing at all. Just to give you an example, the curtain in our room was a sheet, held up by masking tape. The bed looked very cheap. There was a basic table with two chairs and a telephone sitting on a stool. One more thing, the elevator is very old and seems to want to break every time someone rides it. It took the stairs the entire time I was there.

The Broadway Manor Inn was a great deal for the location. I was somewhat skeptical about staying at a lower star establishment, but I was satisfied with my choice. It's located in Nob Hill, which was a great neighborhood. However, the tourist spots are a long walk away. We took advantage of the great bus system (everything was about 5 minutes away). It is definitely priced well for where you are. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the parking is free and secure. Our room was huge: had large dresser, flat-screen, and closet space, a desk, refrigerator, and microwave. There is a small diner attached which had great breakfast, and the staff was helpful with planning events. Overall I was very happy with my choice, and plan to stay there again!

Rude concierge, no personal skills and not helpful with parking. Staff not helpful with parking instructions, not receptive.
