Broadoaks country house is set in the little village of Troutbeck about 1 mile from Windermere and 2 miles from Ambleside. This secluded paradise is surrounded by the stunning Lakeland fells and framed by the river Troutbeck which runs alongside the hotel from within a deep valley. You can hear the soothing rush of the water whilst you take in the beautifully landscaped and manicured grounds which surround this fantastic house.

At Broadoaks, we have an appetite for fine things, and the dining experience at Broadoaks in the recently refurbished Oaks Restaurant is truly special. From a light lunch or afternoon tea to the new range of signature dishes developed by our head chef Taran Baxter, the award winning Michelin recommended kitchen at Broadoaks is passionate about the food we produce and always eager to create a mouth watering experience. *Upgrades to Dinner Bed & Breakfast are available & highly reccomended*

What are your breakfast options?: We have Continental and full English breakfast available this is included in our B&B tariff and starts at 8:30 am and finishes at 9:30 am.
What transport is available to get around?: To get to WindermereLake and Beatrix Potter, we would recommend you a taxi. They are about a couple of miles from here and Ullswater is about half an hour drive from the hotel.
What can I do nearby?: There are lots of local attractions nearby including Windermere Lake Cruises, Beatrix Potter, and Ullswater Steamers.
Do you have internet?: We do have Wi-Fi access in the hotel public areas. However, this is limited in the bedrooms (sometimes the signal strength is not that brilliant). This is free of charge to use.
Do you provide parking?: We do have a private parking in our property.
