A lot of noise, in the morning, caused by service personnel. Although the cleanless is good, the global quality of the accomodation is not sufficient: a complete refurbishment of the rooms could be suitable. The price is not alligned at all with the expectation for a 4 star hotel.

I had a nice stay however the staff at front desk were not always cordial. The day I left there was a problem getting the car from the lot so I was almost late to the airport. I had advised the time I would have to leave and the assured me this would not be a problem. The next morning the told me there was no way to get my car because the lot was closed. I also made change at the desk and the next day the man at the desk tried to tell me that he gave me my money but I did not give him my money so he wanted another 20 euro. I know I gave him my 20 euro.

Lovely location - wonderful view from the room window. Room itself very spacious and comfortable. Towels small and poor quality. Food very poor, facilities limited.

Staff were quite helpful, especially with retrieval of luggage lost by airline. Two main drawbacks: 1) Rooms with a view of Bay of Naples are very noisy, because they face the street and the street is extremely noisy (typical of most busy Naples streets) 2) Access to public transportation (other than taxis) is not good - requires minimum 15 minute walk, often with big hills to be ascended.

The hotel is situated on a hill overlooking the old town with stunning views of Naples bay. The hotel was just a little drab, the rooms were clean and functional but without much character. It was quiet and the staff were friendly and generally quite helpful. I only ate breakfast in the hotel - standard continental fare, limited selection. To get into the main Chiaia area where the bars restaurants and shops were located was around 5-7 Euros in a taxi. The steepness of the hill rules out walking! The hotel next door - Parker's Hotel a five star compared to this 4 star hotel is much more attractive and has a stunning roof terrace bar and restaurant which serves exceptional although expensive food. If your not too fussed about fancy decor the Britainnique is fine for a bed for the night but I would recommend popping next door for food and drink!

Large rooms with view of bay. Desk staff not especially helpful. Location far from downtown, train, and restaurants means quiet and safe, but need taxi to get there or to go anywhere. Food so-so in hotel restaurant, with friendly but inexpert service.

Everything was good. Only comments were that the walls were very thin and we could hear the guests in the next room very clearly. Also, would have been good to have more tourist information clearly available in the reception area. Very friendly, professional staff. Thank you.

Only one-night stay is not enough to review as my opinion. But next time I visit Napoli and the neibourhood I'd like to stay Britannique again. Thank you.
