not the best hotel. rooms far too hot, no fan in them made it very uncomfortable to sleep at night. will not be back again as it is not clean enough for my liking. although it is in a great location it is not worth the money I paid. Poor hotel, 3 out of 10.

Good HotelNice hotel, slightly dated in decor but room was very good size. Hot water all hours, fab power shower, great breakfast and we had no problem with staff's attitude etc. Only down side is they do not have in the bar any real Ale.

Good value for money overallFor a 2 star hotel which was close to where we needed to be this hotel would be hard to beat. Breakfast was a little haphazard and slightly overcooked but tasty. Would be helpful if the parking arrangements were made clearer on the hotel details but as the shoppers car park was next door not too much of a problem other than having to go out to buy ticket at 8am the next day. Overall, for the price paid, excellent value.

Enjoyable stay!Very pleasant hotel, would definitely recommend staying here. Breakfast was fantastic, with everything you could possibly ask for. Staff are extremely nice and helpful. Only complaint, a bit difficult to find!

Dont complain about this place.If you want to complain about this place after paying very little to stay here then you are out of order.I stop in hotels all over- and I agree it's not the Ritz but its clean and comfortable and cheap.Breakfast is included for £40 quid and I thought it was a bargain- even happy hour at the bar- £1 a pint!!Great. Cheap and cheerful

The laziest bar staff I have ever came across,all they want to do is sit and gossip in the reception.Nice quiet hotel,no frills but I never paid for them.The young man on the bar was the only one who could be bothered to be there,the girls were a joke.The young girl upstairs in the resturant was just the last straw.I have never walked out of a resturant after a bowl of soup in my life but could clearly see she could not be bothered so why should I ?

We had a nice clean and well appointed room during our stay and the staff were very helpful even though we were very late arrivals. Parking was the only problem as the hotel parking was being renovated so we had to book into a public car park at the rear of the hotel.

old and tiredThe title is not a description of me but of the hotel. Poor beds, single glazing, no shhet on the matress. Staff were indifferent to my request to find an item of clothing left in the hotel a week earlier.

very dated hotelthe hotel is old and run down, did not even have a double sheet on the matress, bed really creaked and had springs in my back. Single glased ill fitting windows let loads of noise in. shower was poor with only luke warm water and a dribble at that! Good side is that it is in the center of hale near railway station and loads of good restaurants to eat in so in spite of lousy beds I will stay again at just £35.

I have only one complaint but start off on a positive note. The food, hotel room and facilities were very good. The staff are very friendly and professional. Whilst in the hotel I was robbed of my phone and money by what I believe to be a guest. Management was informed and the police and spoke to customer services who could offer me nothing bar a small discount. I asked for the sum of £86 not in the form of money but an extension of two nights.... I was told that because it was not in my room that it wasn’t the hotels responsibility. I will be taking it further with head office... I would like to say that the hotel however excluding this incident was very good... Also the 2* that it has is far less than it should be.

This hotel is situated in the heart of Hale Village with all the local bars and restaurants within easy reach. The room was clean and tidy and the breakfast was good and all for £39.00 B&B.

No hot water in the morning was not helpful but to be honest i have stayed in dozens , if not hundreds of hotels over the years and these things happen , no good ranting , the staff did their best to help , well done.

Staff behind reception, varied in their knowledge. Asked what time breakfast was and they said it maybe until 9am, then said it may be til 9.30am! Some gave a reluctant answer to enquiries, others very friendly.Breakfast, one sausage left (half an hour before end of breakfast), staff member said,\"Do you want me to ask chef to make more?\"We said yes, and waited about 20 minutes, when the sausage arrived, there was no plates.... waited for the breakfast person to re-appear with a plate! Tables not cleared when guests left the room.
