Great for a 1 or 2 night stay where a soft bed and a warm shower are the only things you want.Pros:Close to the centre and night life.Really friendly staff.Cons:Thin walls, I could hear every foot step in the room above me and when someone walked past my room. The en-suite bathroom was tiny but just about usable. For my needs the cons were not real issues. I was in Brighton for a night out so all I wanted at the end of the day was a nice soft bed and a shower to wake me up in the morning and my needs were met. I was only there for one night though. If I was there for a longer period these things might have bothered me more. I'd have no problems staying at Brightonwave again for a short stay.

A fantastic friendly hotel. The Brighton Wave was a wonderful find in an excellent location right near the sea front. The proprieters are extremely friendly and helpful making us feel very welcome. Our room was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean I would heartily reccomend this hotel there is nothing negative to mention atall!

The best hotel bed I've slept inI like a good bed me, and the one I slept in at Brightonwave was just the right mix of firm but enveloping, cosy and cool. A good night's sleep, if not the best hotel sleep I've ever had.I do like a good bath too though, and of course I knew on booking that I wasn't going to get one. But even though I was prepared, I wasn't quite expecting the compact and bijou nature of the "bathroom in a cupboard" module that combined shower sink and toilet. Drops two marks for room quality, though everything else was brilliant.Breakfast ... fab, fresh cooked to order. It didn't come with the unlimited buffet of pastries, etc that would have got top marks, but it was a brilliant full English.

Stylish and friendly hotel, highly recommendedA genuine, friendly and helpful welcome await you at this chic, tall terraced hotel a stone's throw from the sea and central Brighton. Local art is tastefully displayed in the modern rooms and in the small intimate breakfast room cum lounge. The owner managers are never far away and will do thier utmost to accomodate you should you have any special requests. They work quietly but very effectively behind the scenes and you will find them highly professional in a relaxed atmosphere that is so often a difficult combination to achieve. I was served the soya milk that I brought each morning, chilled, with my breakfast and I did not need to remind them about it. The rooms were refreshed with new towels and a light clean each day. The attention to detail and care about the hotel and its guests was evident throughout my stay and I highly recommend a visit. Laterooms offered truly fantastic value for money for a stay at Brightonwave, try it!

Great B&BWe spent three very happy nights at the Brighton Wave. It's really well run and a really comfortable place to relax. Lots of nice touches which make just that little bit special - sweeties in your room, great choice of freshly cooked breakfast, great info for your time in Brighton...the list goes on. Highly recommended.

BrightonwaveI absolutely love this place, it was my second visit, the hosts gave me a warm welcome, a real home from home. The breakfast is great and the room I stayed in was cosy. They have thought of everything from the TV with CD and DVD player, the Gilchrist and Soames toiletries, the lovely extras like chocolates and water, guides to Brighton and a selection of DVD's that you can borrow - just love it.Highly recommended, especially for solo travellers, very safe area. Can't wait to go back:)

This little hotel made my first time to Bristol a memorable one! There's really not a single thing I can complain about Brightonwave...! The staff was very friendly... I received a very friendly welcome on my arrival making me feel right at home. The room was really comfortrable, clean and quiet. I unfortunately did not have the opportunity to sample their great breakfasts that everyone seem to really enjoy... I was in Brighton purely for some R&R and enjoyed being able to sleep late in peace and quite and without being disturbed. All and all a wonderful weekend and I will definitely be returning to Brightonwave again in the not so distant future!

Such a friendly welcome on arrival as I didn't realise I had to make appointment to check-in but hosts, Richard & Simon were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and spent ages just chatting to them. Felt as if it was home from home and we will definately stay again.

The owners are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was served promptly with a good variety. The accommodation was like a 'home away from home' very cosy and modern.I stayed in the executive single room and it was very pleasant with everything you need (E.G Wifi access!! lol). The accommodation is located right near the sea front, so excellent for those who would like this feature.

We really enjoyed our stay and were made to feel very welcome. We thought that parking would be a problem but parked outside. The hotel provided a 24 hour permit for £5.Loved the room and giant bed . Great location would definitely book again. Complementary chocolate bars a nice touch but I do prefer a good old fashioned biscuit with my cup of tea!
