You get what you pay for.....if you want to save money and be close to everything the Brickell Bay Beach is for you. Needs updating, hard beds. The name makes you think they are on the beach, but they're not. Not even on the main road, if Taxi hadn't taken us there, not sure that we would have found it. Nice pool, friendly staff. In great area, close to restaurants and shopping.

This hotel was nothing like the pictures they feature online. Our room smelled like mildew due to our air conditioner leaking on the floor. It was so bad that the cleaning lady willingly gave us her can of air freshener. The bedding and decorations hadn't been updated since the 80's. We did everything we could to not have to go back to the room. Overall, this hotel was a huge disappointment and I will never stay there again. Aruba is filled with many beautiful hotels. Read reviews before booking!!

The Brickel Bay was very uncomfortable, the mattress was like sleeping on cardboard. The room crawled with ants and smelled moldie. There was a 2 towel limit, no glasses, the water pressure was poor. The people were pleasant but there were no amenaties. The entire place is in need of a make over.

This was the first time staying in the high rise area...although this hotel is not on the beach , it only take a few minutes walk to the beach where you can lay out all day and check out the activities. My husband and I liked this hotel as in Aruba you do not stay in at all, either beach or pool. It was great walking to eat and very close to our favorite casino. No one was at the pool so we had to ourselves. It was an in expensive place to stay for a few days until our week at our timeshare.
