This older, well kept inn was just right for a get away. It is close to everything--the beach, supermarket, small to large restaurants, fishing, etc. Wirless internet is great!! And free!! But best of all the staff provided personalized service in a caring way. We will go back next month!!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 days. This small little mom-n-pop place only has 26 rooms (or so) and the grounds are beautiful. Our room had a cozy king size bed, great AC, cable, wifi, table, bathroom, and small kitchen. It looked like a studio apartment. Perfect for the 2 of us - but would be GREAT for a family or group wanting to spend the week at the beach. Only 2 blocks away is the Atlantic ocean with sandy beaches and pub if you like. 5 minute walk north is a grocery shopping center with restaurants and a CVS. Only 5 minutes south are beach shops and the pier. Alright, so the carpet doesnt match the curtains, or the bedspread, or the table cloth.... but hey, We've got a fully furnished kitchen, and the owners living on site. The room was ready at 9 am and everything is CLEAN!!! If you want matching bedspreads, hit the $$ chain hotel down the street.... this place is JUST PERFECT for relaxing. The pool was beautiful and so was the park right across the street with basketball, soccer, and tennis. I'll DEFINATELY be back here!

This is a great place to stay/visit for the price, a very good deal! The staff was friendly and professional. The room was comfortable and came with a lot of ammenities. It was close to the beach and everything else you could ever want. Landscaping was beautiful, and well taken care of. I felt safe and all the other guest were well mannered and friendly! I would love to stay there again!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was friendly, our rooms were nice. The location of the hotel was close enough to shopping and bars where you could walk, yet far enough away where you didn't get the loud bar noise. The pool looked nice, the grounds were kept up. We will go back there to stay.

Had two very nice weeks in Lauderdale-by-the-sea, and at Breakaway Inn. Friendly staff, nice room to a nice price. I would be happy to come back again next year.

We were very pleased with our accomadations. The room was clean, the kitchenette very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beach and restaurants are only a short walk a way. My husband and I felt very comfortable staying there and would definitely come back again.

The family owned Inn was just wonderful. Everyone was kind,helpful and friendly.Our room was kept very clean. The grounds were well kept. The pool was very clean, we enjoyed it every day. The location is wonderful. You don't really need to have a car because you are walking distance to everything. We are hoping to go back again soon with more family members.

"Five minute walk to beach,In the mist of everything, on a Quiet side street. Nice owners.Need some up dating, which owners are trying to do themselves. Good price for the area. Felt safe in this area."

"had a nice king bed and kitchen, small pool. But did not want to set in the yard by the pool. yard was not kept up, grass was a foot tall! Did not make the place look that nice, when it was pretty nice! Lots of great plants if you could look past the high grass and weeds."
