What transport is available to get around?

There are a couple of shuttle services that cater to Telluride, with rates starting at $48.00 each way per person. This service also can be used to get to Silverton, however, most people do drive themselves.

Depending on when you are planning to visit, and your comfort level driving in winter conditions, we would recommend driving or renting a car/jeep once you get here. That way you would have a little more freedom as opposed to a rigid shuttle schedule, not to mention it might be a bit more cost effective.

Do you provide parking?

We have ample parking on site.

What are your breakfast options?

We serve a light Continental breakfast daily from 7:30 am to 11:00 am. This include muffins, apples, coffee, and tea. Continental breakfast is complimentary.

For a full breakfast, there are restaurants within four blocks of our property which are open year round.

What can I do nearby?

We have four mineral hot spring tubs located in our courtyard area for our guests to enjoy. These are open daily from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. Each guest room has a DVD player, and we have over 350 movies available which are complimentary.

The natural mineral hot springs in Ouray are one of the most popular reasons to visit. The city pool is the second largest all natural mineral hot springs pool in Colorado. It is open year round, and is great fun any time.

We do have some pubs which are open all year, and provide a bit of night life. O’Brien’s Pub frequently has live music on the weekends, and there are several performances each year at the Wright Opera House. Both the Fourth of July and New Years Eve celebrations are finished off with an amazing fireworks display. However, most activities in the area are outdoors.

Ouray has been called by many The Jeeping Capital of the World, with jeep trails ranging from simple scenic drives to extremely challenging paths. There is also shopping, hiking, biking, horseback riding, photography, wildlife viewing, rafting, fishing, and camping to name a few.

Ouray is close to both Telluride and Silverton for downhill ski enthusiasts, cross country skiing is in the immediate area as well as snowshoeing trails, ice skating, sledding, ice climbing (the Ouray Ice Festival brings world famous athletes to Ouray each January).
