The hotel was in a perfect location, right across from the beach. Easy two minute walk from hotel to beach. The rooms are air conditioned and comfortable. If you plan on just using the room to shower and sleep then its perfect. If you are expecting the Ritz then you are sadly mistaken. The carpet had some stains, the bed sheets had some stains, the towels were rough but for the most part the room was great. You only get 8 channels on the TV but who needs tv when you are enjoying the beautiful beach.

The breakfast was good and hotel staff was friendly. It was not a clean hotel. The hotel was located in a good area in Miami, Florida, but the hotel was not clean.

Had no problems with our stay. Front desk aimed to please, and helped move us to a new room to accomodate a different bed setup than was on the reservation. Very basic accomodations, but definitely a good value.

The hotel was not great. Stayed outside he majority of the time, but the hotel had roahes - lots of them. Beware.

Right in the middle of the bars and restaurants on ocean. Double bed old, rundown, AC was terrible even. Not a room for a romantic getaway, if you are 21 - 24 years of age and want to be in the middle of all the action good room for two friends.

This hotels location is great if you want to be right in the middle of South Beach. However, the room itself could have been a little cleaner and the AC wasn't working too well. But, it was reasonably priced.

OMG!! this a great place to stay!! walking distance to south beach like 5 min walking, walking distance to entertainment, dinning, shopping, nightlife, walking distance to washington, collins and lincoln streets!!!

The location was great. We paid for the location, definitely. It looked like an old motel 8 in a great location. Overall, we paid a nice price for our location, as far as having a 2.5 to 3 star hotel. It definitely was not that. The staff was superb. Very friendly and helpful. I think we just did not like the overall look of the rooms and hotel itself.

Website mentioned free breakfast but hotel claims not all customers qualify. Rooms are old, shabby, stained, small, bed isn't comfortable. Cigarette burn hole sheets. Towels paper thin. Old fan shaking & whirring. NO AC. Window faced dirty alley with cats. Roaches. 11am checkout but departing flight 3pm so asked staff to hold bags: they wouldn't. Positives: hotel's close to everything, steps from beach. Relatively inexpensive so if a college student or looking to spend time drunk, this hotel is for you. If you're expecting amenities, forget it. You're lucky you get toilet paper.

Honestly, I chose this Hotel because it was the cheapest. If you're coming down to Miami to party and be out all day then this Hotel isnt a bad choice. I basically used this room for storage and to take a shower.....Why pay alot of money for a room that you are not going to stay in :-)

On June 4,2009 I traveled to Miami w a group of 6.We booked 2 rooms in advance at the Boulevard hotel in Miami Beach.We checked in and were given the keys to our rooms but were disgusted with the rooms both in cleanliness and size.We asked the front desk for better rooms and they offered to upgrade for an extra $50 per night to "suites".We agreed to this and when we entered the "suites",although they were large in size,they were dingy and grimy looking. We all agreed not to let this ruin the trip and tried to remain positive. We saw dead cockroaches all along the sides of the elevator on the way down.To make a long story short,I will just make note of everything we experienced/saw at this hotel: we found 3 cockroaches crawling in our room,we found a huge dead water bug in the closet,the windows were cracked/broken and barely being held together by scotch tape,there were stains and even blood stains on our bed comforters,the towels had holes in them,the couches were badly stained and had bed sheets thrown over them to cover it up,the toilet was also clogged and not flushing properly.We asked the staff to provide us with better rooms but they said this was the best they had and they also said roaches were unusual there and maybe someone left a window open and they came in through the alleyway.The 2nd day,it was raining and suddenly,the ceiling in our room began to drip in more than 10 places and in the bathroom as well.It was obvious that this was not a new problem because they entire area had been patched up before and the rain started pouring in.we ran out into the hallway only to find that it was the same all throughout the hallway and there were towels and buckets everywhere. We asked for another room but the room they moved us to was leaking as well.We spoke to the manager who was VERY rude to us.we were offered no apology and we had to argue with him to get him to give us a discount for the inconvenience.The new room seemed nice and the leak in there was not bad

This hotel is located right on Ocean Drive, which makes it both incredibly convenient for shopping, dinning, and the beach, and incredibly inconvenient for loading and unloading baggage and parking. There is no hotel parking and because Ocean Drive is such a narrow and busy street, unloading our bags from the car was a more than a bit of a hassle, trying to get them through the tables of the side walk restaurant, plus there was no one from the hotel to help. Add to all this that there are no amenities at the hotel. Although, apparently there is internet access in some of the rooms, but not many. The access in the "lobby" consists of standing in the hallway they call a lobby at the desk so you can hook into their ethernet cable. Finally, there were some maintenance issues with our first room. Although there was no one available to fix the issues, they did move us to another room.

I went for a wedding, and could have done without a car had I known that I would spend $20/day for parking. The TV was ancient and did not work properly, nor did the remote to control the TV.

Great location. People coming and going all night. No sound proofing at all. The dumpster was right outside our window and was used by the restaurant until after midnight on a regular basis with smoke breaks taken after each time the dumpster was slammed open/shut. The hotel was right in the center of all the action--I was too tired to enjoy it.

The Boulevard Hotel is in the center of all of the action on South Beach. We had breakfast at the restaurant downstairs and all of the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The room was not the cleanest. There were stains on a pillow case and wash cloth and our towels had hair on them that did not come from our heads. However, the purpose of our vacation was not to spend all day in a hotel room, but to party and relax on the beach. Overall, the hotel served the purpose we needed it to and that was to provide us with a place to keep our belongings, sleep, and shower (poor water pressure though). Be advised that the bottles of water they place in your room are not free so unless you want to pay $2 per bottle, don't drink them. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to South Beach to have a good time. The location is perfect and the price was even better. I would definitely stay there on my next trip to Miami.

Honestly not bad for the price. the staff is nice and it includes a continental breakfast at the very pleasant streetside cafe downstairs. If you love to be out and about in southbeach instead of luxuriating in a deluxe hotel room, this hotel is just fine.

I booked this hotel because it was right on Ocean Drive and said it had basic amenities (AC, internet, etc.) I was sooo dissappointed to find out there was no AC, no Internet, you had to hold the windows open with something, and they didn't open much. We saw bugs in the room. The bathroom and sheets were not cleaned. It was awful! The great location did not make up for the condition of this, so called "hotel".
