Great location within easy walking distance to best restaurants, town center, park and historic district. Charming staff and no reasonable request denied. Comfortable rooms. Would go there again.

The old charm and location. The bathrooms were remodeled cheaply. I think the hotel was somewhat over priced after seeing the accommodations. The lobby is stunning with a huge stained glass ceiling and Victorian decor. The walk down a hallway leading to our room was cluttered with dilapidated, randomly placed antique furniture; which created a storage room look rather than adding to the look and charm of the hotel. The bedroom was small, the bathrooms were disappointing as they were remodeled on the cheap and not in line with the Victorian period at all. The breakfast we had in the restaurant was top notch; great taste and presentation. They staff was wonderful in every way.

A wonderful, beautiful historic hotel that met and exceeded all expectations. Very quaint and charming yet a full service hotel. The staff was extra accomodating and they treated us like royalty. Highly recommend if you want the downtown Boulder experience. The only drawback is they do not have a moderately priced restaurant available. You must be prepared to pay high scale pricing for brunch and dinner menus.

The Hotel Boulerado was very quaint, comfortable and oozing with ambience. It had everything I needed. Nice restaurant and bar, cute little boutique. My room was very small, like a maid's quarters, but comfortable and clean. Bathroom was fine for an older hotel. Plenty of closet space. I did see some other rooms that were very spacious, comfortable and nice. I chose this hotel for it's location. It was in walking distance to great shopping and wonderful restaurants. Close to family members that I was visiting and easier to stay close rather than across the city. Valet parking was very nice. I would most definitely stay at the Hotel Boulderado again. Loved it!

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Boulderado on our honeymoon and fell in love with this place. The hotel's architecture and ambience is relaxing and warm. The rooms have a uniqueness that feels like home. The staff is very respectful and courteous, ever attentive to our needs and desires. We were also fortunate enough to be at the Boulderado for its 100th aniversary celebration and I must say the hotel values the history and tradition of not only their business but also of the city and state. The location is perfect for engaging in shopping, sampling Boulder's fine cuisine and participating in a myriad of outdoor activities. Spectacular views of the Flatirons spring forth from every window. Will we be back? Most definitely - many times over. When can we go back?

The Boulderado offers the feeling of a hotel in the late 1800's/early 1900's, from the entry lobby to the wood staircase to the unique rooms decorated in the period style. The building feels old. There is an elevator in the front lobby but has to be operated by a hotel employee and after arriving late in the evening, I carried my bags up the stairs to the second level. The other upscale hotel I stayed in a few blocks away is new construction and offers amenities in the room like bottled water and snacks for purchase. Both hotels are within walking distance of Pearl street.

Location downtown. Valet parking, parking charge. The Boulderado was a well kept and pleasant hotel. The rooms were adequate, there was free wireless internet. The view out the window of our room was of an alley and nothing to write home about. Parking was $8/night with valet parking only. The valet's were always available and there was no problem except for the feeling that one could not just go out for a short drive without going through the valet thing. On the other hand, we didnt have to worry about parking to go walking down the Pearl street mall. The bottom line is that if you are staying in Boulder to be around for shopping or a football game, the hotel is great, but if you are there as a staging point to visit the mountains, there are more convenient places to stage from.

Pros: The hotel is beautifully decorated. Lobby staff - pleasant. Bed - very comfortable. Room - small, but with nice view and exceptionally clean. It was also convenient to be in downtown Boulder. Cons: If you book through a on line travel website. then this IS one of those hotels who will put you in their most modest room. Even if the hotel is half empty. Mine (519) was on the top (5th) floor. Its door is noticeably more narrow than its neighbors. PARKING GRIPE! I arrived on a Sunday. I parked my car on Pine St, a stone's throw from the hotel entrance. When I checked in the concierge told me I would have to use Valet parking ($8 a night) because there was nowhere to park in downtown Boulder. I re-read the Parking signs on Pine Steet: On Pine, in the vicinity of 13th, parking is free on Sundays. Mondays to Saturdays, parking on Pine is still free, but there is a 3-hour limit between 8 am and 7pm. On 13th almost right outside the hotel there are parking meters (and there are more within a block or so). If you park at these meters you only need to pay between 9 pm to 5 pm (check the 5pm - it could be 7 pm). I am not stingy about $8 a night but having read on trip advisor that the valets could leave you waiting, I was heisitant to use the service. So I didn't use the Valet parking at all - but get this ... they still tried to bill me for it! The young lady who checked me out politely removed that charge from my bill.

I returned to Boulder after 30 years when I went to Grad School! The hotel was a wonderful warm and timeless place to stay while I reaquainted myself with Boulder again! I felt like I had gone back in time. I was treated very well, it was very clean and peaceful and the perfect location to launch my daily activities from. It was close to the Pearl Street Mall for dining and shopping and the valet parking made having the car there a pleasure. The Hotel dining was excellent and I loved the corner bar and the outdoor seating.I will certainly return!

Hotel Boulderado is very old historic property that has been very well restored. Rooms were nice size and very clean and the extra sink in the room was a big help with 2 of us. We ate in both restaurants and the food was very good especially in the corner bar as it was a gorgeous day to sit outside and enjoy delicious salads. Great walking distance to the heart of downtown for shopping and many wonderful restaurants around the area.

The lobby and hallways were beautiful and really show off how historic the property is. The location, right off Pearl Street was just what we were looking for. Luckily we didn't need to spend too much time in our room because it was VERY tiny (more so than we were expecting). We had to call both nights to get a few extra towels, but they were delivered quickly.

We stayed 2 nights. Boulder is a great city (town?) and the location of the hotel is excellent for downtown facilities. The hotel gives a good feeling of old-world luxury while everything works properly. We did not dine at the hotel but the breakfasts were very good and we had a snack lunch at the bar, which met expectations. We were upgraded free to a suite, which was a large room, plenty of space, great view, comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful (as indeed were most people we came across in Boulder). We're likely to return to Boulder and would definitely stay again at the Boulderado.

Hotel Boulderado is a beautiful hotel located near fun shopping streets. The staff goes overboard to fill your every need. We found it centrally located and very convenient to our needs. The best part of our stay was the food! The Corner Pub and the small restaurant have an incredible chef and the prices were reasonable. We took my niece to breakfast there and were satisfied until dinnertime. We'll definitely be returning.

"I was very concerned about this hotel, as the Victorian decor in the pictures scared me. However, everyone I knew from Boulder said it was the place to stay, and they were right. I've never stayed in a more comfortable hotel. The staff was fantastic, and the linens (towels, sheets, etc.) were worth the trip to Boulder all by themselves. Add to it the hotel's location, the nearby hiking trails, and the fantastic nearby food options, and you have the perfect place to stay!"

The Hotel Boulderado was very pleasant to stay at. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the staff were very accomodating. It was an easy walk to the downtown area and there were many good restaurants to choose from.

"There is really nothing wrong with this hotel, but I don't think it deserves a 5 rating. There is no doorman, the car attendants are not that attentive, and the sidewalk was-quite frankly- covered with the remains of someone's dinner from the evening before. This was midmorning, plenty of time for it to have been addressed by the hotel staff. Our room was so hot, we took the blankets off the bed. However, ambience is great, kids loved the ancient elevator, location is convenient and breakfast was wonderful. But,It is NOT the only place to stay in Boulder. "

We chose to stay at the Boulderado so that we could walk to the Pearl Street Mall at a moment's notice. We also love the character of this historic landmark.
