	Date of Stay: June, 2009
The hotel is in a good location next to the Ferrovia railway station and waterbus connection. Reception staff were helpful and friendly and the double room was spacious and clean. However, the hotel was badly let down by the poor standard of food served for the continental breakfast and the unfriendly staff. Overall I would not rate this as a 4 star hotel.

Well located near Grand Canal, nice decorated classic room. Extremely loud and rude staff that argued openly with each other. This is a very attractive older hotel in the heart of Venice with a classic lobby, bar area and small but very well appointed rooms. The breakfast was the worst we had in 10 days in Italy and the staff was loud and unruly. The place does not deserve its rating.

My wife and I recently stayed in the Boscolo Bellini hotel in Venice. It is a perfect hotel experience. First off, you can't get any closer to the train station or vaporretto. The train station is no more than 100 yards from the hotel, maybe less. There is a vaporetto stop right out the hotel's front door that is serviced by nearly every vaporretto line in Venice. Buy the 24 hour vaporretto pass, and you don't have to worry about travel at all. The hotel is first class, a beautiful room, great service, and friendly English fluent staff. The only draw back was no internet in the room. There is a special perk that they don't advertise. Many folks do quick overnight stays in Venice when they travel to Rome. That's what we did. The hotel will hold your bags for you until your train/flight leaves. We checked out early and left our bags at the hotel. It gave us several more hours to explore Venice without having to cart our bags around. Very nice perk.

Excellent hotel. Most beautiful room we stayed in on our Italy trip. Front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. Great view of the Grand Canal from our room. Breakfast was great, except they served instant coffee!!! We were on the top floor in the corner room. Three windows and a balcony. Great views, even from the bathroom.

Bellini, Venice Modern clean room very fashionably decorated with lovely double shower so I would not fault the room, only let down was the breakfast which lacked in choice and was not great for a four star hotel

We had a great little cottage in the back with our own pattio. For a morring snack to start the day go to the train station for croussants and coffee,1.80 euro less than a block away. Good restaurants all within 5 min walk. Definitely get the water bus (vaparito) pass 20 euro to get around even to the airport not the water taxi 50 euro per trip min.

Staff was very friendly, good location. Small room, no fitness facilities. The hotel is well located, very close to the train station and the staff was very helpful, attentive and friendly. However, the hotel facilities were basic and there was no fitness room which I would expect in a 4 star hotel. The hotel does have a nice roof terrace with a good view of the Scalzi bridge - a great place to get away from the crowds!

Not only was the Boscolo Bellini Hotel just a stones throw from the water taxi station, great shopping and delicious food, but the hotel itself was lovely. When we entered our room, we were amazed to find that stairs led up to a loft with a king sized bed, desk and TV. The staff were accomodating and spoke english. The bathroom all marble. The only criticism was about their "breakfast buffet". Go out!!!! Not worth 18 euro and when the plates are empty, they are not making any more. But the hotel is a must stay! Enjoy!

It is very close to the train station and vaporetta stops giving ease of access to Marco Polo Airport, Murano Island, San Marco Square or any of the endless things to see and do. We had a very large room by european standards that had no view. The size and beauty of the room and the marble bath with whirlpool tub more than compensated for the view. It has a roof top bar with a view or you could walk out of the front door of the lobby and you are in the middle of Venice and it's magnificent views of the Grand Canal. It was a bit pricey but I have not been to europe in 20 years so everything was pricey to me! Can't wait to return and will definately stay here again!

Hotel is well located next to railroad station and vaporetto stops. rooms are small but quiet and lavishly decorated. Staff is helpful and friendly. We were disappointed to learn that our expensive room fee did not include buffet breakfast. We bought breakfast once and found it poor compared to others at less expensive hotels. For $18.00 per person, we expected much more.

We liked the location to train station as we were traveling by train, we felt safe, the bed was large and had a tub. staff were friendly. At night the front doors were locked shut so we could not get out, fire safety problem. there was no clock in the room. Overall a nice hotel. Nicely located next to train station for travelers by train. A nice large bed with a nice bathtub. Good air conditioning, clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Too expensive to eat there. A soda was 4 euros, yikes. Overall a pleasant stay.

This is the closest hotel to the train station in Central Venice which makes it very convenient. The rooms were extremely small and for over * Euros per night, I would have expected breakfast to be included. That would have been 18 Euros more PER PERSON!

Superb location, one minute walk from the train station. Vaporetto waterbus stop right outside the door, for easy access to the whole of Venice.

The staff was very friendly. Did not accommodate our request for early check-in. The hotel staff was friendly (the clerk was not always very efficient). The hotel was clean and welcoming. Breakfast should be included (charged 18 Euros per person) too pricey!

My wife and I were please with our service and the ideal location of this hotel. The excellent staff made us feel very comfortable for our short stay. The rooms were as comfortable as they were always with cold air conditioning and well supplied with all the necessary amenities. The breakfast dining has fresh food and juices that is well worth the price. We were on the top floor and had wine on the roof top outside looking at the great view of Venice for our last romantic evening! Enjoy!

As all hotels in Venezia are short on room, this one makes excellent use of the available space. Only a short walk from the train station was nice. I would hate to have to find my way through the maze of canals with luggage. Look out for the room service though, it is in typical venice fashion...Overpriced!"

Location, didn't have to drag suitcases up and down the canal. Very small room, room was very dark, ants in the room. We very much enjoyed the location, very close to the train station so we did not have to pay for a porter to take our luggage or drag our luggage with us on boats and up stairs. Very close to a boat dock for the bus and restaurants and shops. Kind of far for attractions, but the boat passes were very helpful. However, the room was very quiet and reasonably clean.
