Best hotel in AC, by far!
Date of Stay:

We have visited this beautiful hotel/casino in the past and have wanted to stay over, but wouldn't pay the $300+ rate. Because of the low rate we received on ORBITZ it gave us the opportunity to experience this luxury property. The rooms are very nice and impeccably clean. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful, unlike some other reviewers. The only downside is the resort's location, which is removed from the Boardwalk and other casinos. A "jitney" shuttle bus can be taken for a small fee between the casinos/Boardwalk area and is convenient to use.

Rooms were nice, some features could have been a little better i.e TV. The casino was very nice, drink service was a little slow, but overall a great time

Excellent alternative to staying in a "Boardwalk" casino. Quiet area but within minutes to the experience of the Boardwalk and Casino life. Staff not quite as friendly and service not as exceptional as our last few visits.

My boyfriend and I tried to check-in early. They told us there weren't any rooms clean but they would give us an extension to call to check back later. Well we came back around 5:30 and they said they ran out of the classic rooms so they upgraded us to a suite. So it was a great start to a mini-vacation. The room was gorgeous and very spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable. The casino atmosphere was great. We went to the B-bar and it was a great place to hang out and have some drinks. Can't wait to go back!

This newest addition to the hotels in Atlantic City claims itself a luxury hotel, but it had everything a single minded casinos would -- no bathtub, very noisy younger crowd, long lines at check in and out. In short, it felt like a magnificent, beautiful skeleton of a building. If you get a deal, not a bad choice.

Beautiful room for a great price! We arrived early - around 1pm but had no problem checking in early. We got to choose our room location - we choose a high room and the view was amazing! After check in we went right to the second floor Pool & Spa and used the sun patio. We had room service delivered to us out by the pool for lunch. Our room was great, friendly service, excellent location - couldn't have had a better stay!

Went there for a friend's birthday. Had a great time. Mur Mur was excellent, you need to get there a little late because the party doesn't get wild until later at about 12pm. Ladies were free, and the guys had to pay a $20 cover. Perfect amount of people in the club, and bar space was plentiful. Drinks were also very good and service was excellent! The Water Club is also nice, however the room is identical, so save the extra bucks and spend it having fun. Borgata was great =].

If you are looking for a relaxing getaway, this is the place to go. We spent the week gambling, lounging at the pool and hot tub, and eating at the various restaurants located within the facility. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was nice having a hassle free vacation.

We received a free upgrade to a suite. The buffet is absolutely the best meal we had. The Borgata is hands down the best Hotel I have ever stayed at. The slots were good too!!!

We have stayed at other hotels in the Atlantic City area, nothing compares to this hotel and casino. This was non-stop fun for my husband, myself and our friends. I don't think I have seen a nicer Casino or hotel in this area. The rates are great, and everyone there just seemed very friendly. We will definately stay again.

Our first time staying at the Borgata we arrived 9:00pm Friday night and the check-in was quick and friendly...got the basic room with a King size bed on the 43rd floor & higher-numbered room as requested...the hotel/casino is beautiful and provides everything you need...shopping, dining, nightlife, entertainment, etc...the 43rd floor smelled/reminded me of a motel...maybe they're all smoking rooms on that floor??..since it is the top floor??...our room WAS a smoking room so I expected it to smell like a hint of smoke..but the room was clean, neat and very nicely decorated...floor to ceiling windows provide great views on a clear day/night...the bathroom/shower was very attractive though some of the tiles could've used extra scrubbing or replaced at best...I was disappointed to not find a 30"+ HD LCD TV on the wall...instead there is a 20-something inch older tube TV...unfortunately the radio in our room did not work. Overall, I rate our stay 4 out of 5 because for the above-average price they charge for these rooms, you'd expect them to update/improve them a bit...they should really consider this as competition stiffens during this "recession" and MGM Grand will open down the street in the next few years. Please keep in mind though, we did have a GREAT night dining at Old Homestead, dancing and drinking at MurMur, and winning at the various tables and slots! Keep up the good work!

Overall the Hotel was beautiful, especially the bathroom. Big thing for 3 women staying together. However, service was average for the "Scale" of this hotel. We were misinformed on a number of details (i.e. price and frequency of a particular "Jitney" which is the cities transportation system). Their "infamous" Japanese restaurant was nothing to rave about and the service even less. Yet the staff, service & food @ the Wolfgang Puck restaurant was exceptional. Lastly, as someone who has frequented Las Vegas, Borgata doesn't come close to those, especially in terms of services available 24 hours.

First time at this Hotel....unhappy with room...seemed more like a motel....price too high for such an ordinary room!!!

It was a weekend getaway with my girl friend. Hit the Bobby Flay Steak house. It was great. The filet was one of the best I've had. Except for the long wait at the check-in (Seems like the hotel was short-staffed on that day, which didn't really make any sense 'cause it was on a weekend), I rate the overall experience was very pleasant.

The Borgata is a lovely property but very expensive. We were there for a concert at their smaller venue, The Music Box. That is a Wonderful venue. The regular hotel rooms are fine, nothing special. The bedding was stiff, not cozy. The shower was huge, and the supplied toiletries nice,
