I had a great stay at the Bond Place hotel. I was there earlier during the year and there was construction and renovations going on. I didn't get to stay in the newer rooms. But this time i did get a chance. the new rooms are perfect. the standard rooms with one bed are a little smaller. But hey! Couldn't ask for more for the amount I was paying. And usually i have noticed, Room sizes are quite smaller specially when you are in downtown. Its the perfect room size for two. But then if you have a lot more people then the hotel does have bigger rooms. the newer room is more elegant and clean. The LCD Tv is awesome!..The location is so perfect that everything is just walking distance. I think for the price and location the hotel is perfect. The front desk staff said there is a lot more to come. Oh yes..one for thing, The hotel also has a new fitness room. The machines are all new..:)

Nice hotel, room was not bad, and the bed feels comfortable. Few minutes away form Eaton Centre and Young Street, which is really convenient when I was having difficulty on searching food. Once I walked out of the hotel at 2:30 am, the environment makes me feel safe. Not so many homeless people around. The hotel staff were nice and polite; the washroom was clean and fine. Equipments are enough for basic living, the only inconvenience was the lack of free wireless network. The price was quite high to buy the password for the wireless.

We keep returning to this hotel because it has great service, is clean and has a great location.

This hotel is very close to Dundas station in heart of downtown. However, the facility was too old, especially bed and air conditioner. It made a noise to much.

The hotel was nice, clean but needed up dated.

Great location! Unlike many hotels these days there is no free internet, instead they make you pay through the nose. Also - no free breakfast, so add those costs on top of the price you pay. The rooms are small but neat and the staff was good too.

Tiny beds, roll over and fall out of bed. Pictures shown online are not even close to true. This hotel is in the only bad part of Toronto. DO NOT STAY IN THIS DUMP!!!

The room are too small, the Bond is an old hotel and smell old, no pool, yes it had a parking area but that was an additional *.00 a day. To put in in as few word as I can THE OVERRALL EXPERIENCE WAS VERY FAR FROM MY STANDARDS (for about *.00 for four days),THAT I DID NOT STAY A NIGHT IN THE ROOM. How can travelocity put their name behind the low standard Hotel? l

We stayed for a personal vacation, booked through [...]. I would not have spent the asking price of $200 we paid 1/3 of that and if we paid more we would have been ripped off. We're glad we were only in the room to sleep. (I would recommend this to a friend only if they paid a very inexpensive price for it--- no more than about 80 a night)The only redeeming quality was the friendly bellhop and some concierge and the awesome location. We were a walking distance to the subway, food, entertainment, bus stop, mall, and everything imaginable. We also lucked out because the ice machine was right across the hall. the ice melted fast due to the warm rooms and there is only an ice machine on each 3rd floor.Upon check in they "lost" my reservation but did quickly "find it" when I pulled my conformation page. The hallway floors were sticky and the molding/ carpeting was ripped up our entire stay. No mention by the staff they were under renovation. The hotel is close to the main entertainment square which is good but the music was semi-loud until about 11pm and can be sorta heard in the room.Housekeeping kept shutting off the AC- even during the hot days, there were stains on the pillows and blanket. The bed was not very comfortable either.Note:Parking was an additional $15/night.

We were looking for an affordable hotel in the centre and the hotel was perfect for that. The room was not very impressive, clean but very simple and plain but then again we knew not to expect luxury for the money we paid for it. It's walking distance to Eaton Centre, the City Hall and many other places, we actually walked to the Harborfront and the CN Tower (twice in a day!) but would definitely catch a subway next time, our feet did hurt. :-) There's a gated underground parking structure across the street, $15 for 24 hours so your car will be safe.

Although the room was a bit small, it was clean and more than adequate. The location was ideal for downtown travellers. The service from the friendly staff was fantastic.

I flew in to the Bond Hotel on April 12 for a few days. The location is GREAT! I was deciding between there and the Comfort Inn Suits) THE SINGLE BEST THING FOR ME WAS THAT THE SHUTTLE SERVICE TO THE AIRPORT HAS A TICKET BOOTH RIGHT THERE IN THE HOTEL. I can't stress how important that is when a trip from the airport by Taxi is 50.00. (The shuttle is 18.50 one way or 29.00 round trip.) About the room and the hotel. There is no free breakfast like at the comfort Inn and you have to ask for stuff like an iron and Ironing board. The room was EXTREMELY CLEAN AND CLEAN SMELLING. A big pluss for me! Now the bad. The room was cartoonishly small. The room was about 10' X12 plus the bathroom. Think of a childs bedroom and you get the idea. i was sharing the room with a co-worker which made it worse.I had a double room and I'm use to two Standard size beds. Not here you get two TWIN beds like the ones from a bunk bed. I'm 6' 2" and my feet hung off the end. Now to be fair there is a room upgrade and it might be a larger room and larger bed but I don't know. The matress was also hard a brick. I like a firm matress but this was like sleeping on the ground. Final thought: If you are under 6 feet tall, traveling alone or with a loved one and you want a hotel that is convient, clean and easy to get to and from the airport the Bond place is the place. Me: I'd take the shuttle to the Bond and walk the 2 blocks to the Comfort Inn suits.

The bathroom is old,the room very small and the internet cost money (per 1 hour or per 24 hour) but the location is great.

The location was good for downy own Toronto. The rooms are uncomfortably small. It was clean but very small rooms for two people.

Excellent for a buget hotel. ideal location in city center. Bus to and from airport stops at door.We did not have meals here . We dined in the Irish pub in the next street. Would stay here again if back in Toronto.

I stayed there for 3 nights. The staff was very nice and the hotel was in the heart of the city, very close to everything. There is a small bar downstairs called Monika's, very nice and cozy. Around the corner is an all night diner called "Frank's" the food is very good and the staff was extremely friendly. I do not know if it was only at this hotel or in all hotels in the area but local phone calls were not free. I plan on going back in less than a month, I will definately stay there again.

Whether you wanted to go to a restaurant, go to a show (theatre or movie), shop, or visit the sights, the hotel was near it. Upon return from whatever activity, your comfortable bed was waiting for you. What the hotel lacks in "extras", it makes up for it in location.

The location. Toilet did not work, and could not get an iron for clothes.
