This lodge appeared to be in the final stages of remodeling, which only effected us because of our beautiful room. Our view was exquisite, fireplace glowing, and room service impeccable. Of all of the staff, room service from the Duck Club, stood out the most for cuisine and presentation by the person delivering and setting it up. A pricy, but definite A+ getaway!

I would recommend this to everyone traveling to this area. The views were spectacular, the staff extremely gracious. Just loved this hotel. Our rooms were very large and very clean. Cannot say enough good things.

Very nice and comfortable place to get away for a weekend. Room is nicely decorated, with a small balcony overlooking the bay. Fireplace in the room contributes to a romantic mood. Only thing I don't like is it's too far from the beach, making walking impossible.

We were looking for a great deal on a four star hotel and at the last moment decided on Bodega Bay Lodge since the reviews were favorable. Since I am in the hotel industry and am very particular about where I stay , I was a bit hestitant but thought I would give this lodge a try and boy was I impressed. Our checkin process was fast and friendly. There is a 24 hour coffee/reading room, a very nice touch. The bathrooms are wonderful and so were the robes that I wore down to the hot tub. I cannot wait to go back. The service in the Duck restaurant was very friendly and the food was average but then I only had pancakes, thats not saying very much. I highly recommend this property.

The Hotel was very nice. we did,nt stay in a remodeled room, but was still very nice, tub could have been bigger. We were on the bottom floor good view, but the people upstairs were a little loud. The room was clean and staff very nice. We had breakfast at The Duck Club was good.

I would urge the person who is telling all his friends bad things about this place to keep it up--I don't want it to get crowded for when I go back, which will be the very next chance I get! This place is beautiful, the location is perfect for getting into the Sonoma wine valley, our room was lovely, and it had the most comfortable bed my husband and I have ever slept on. We didn't even have a room with a fireplace or the updated bathroom mentioned in other reviews, which is the only potential negative comment I would have. Our bathroom needed updating, since the shower was built for someone who is four feet tall. Had we had a fireplace and a new bathroom, we would still be there. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful. We didn't eat at the restaurant but I can see why it would be popular since there is not a lot of fine dining in the area. I did not know about the pool or spa (this trip was a surprise) but they both looked very nice and were right out on the bay, for great sunset watching. Can't wait to go back.

My husband and I went here for out anniversary, and we had a great time. The rooms were spacious, clean, and newly remodled. The bathrooms were beautiful, and the fireplace was a wonderful bonus. The mini-bar was nice with all the amernities you would think of for family or a romantic getaway near wine country. We did have a problen with the new bathtub, the drain wouldn't switch from shower to bathtub, so the staff was very helpful in gettin that corrected, they even sent us a bottle of complimentary champaign for pur anniversary to make up for the plumbing issues. The Duck Club restaraunt was really good also. Highly recommended for dinner. We will definately stay here again when we are in the area!!!!!

A very clean and quiet space. Lovely views from the room with a cute balcony. Fresh, clean robes and plenty of towels to take to the spa area - hot tub is very hot tho' quite enjoyable once you get in! Did not eat at this location, but some really good places nearby and of course lots of great fresh fish on the menu's. Overall a very pleasant and relaxing stay.

Service was outstanding...everyone was very nice. The Duck Club Rest was excellent...best breakfast we have had in sometime. Grounds were always clean and we always saw workers cleaning up or maintaining the property. The hot tub and pool were great and open late. Beautiful area around the resort and we saw whales on Bodega Point. Very secluded spot.

The staff was very friendly. I love the heated outdoor pool, as well as the outdoor hot tub. Ocean view was nice. We saw a couple whales (of course, my husband has great eyesight and can spot those spouts in a second!). Will definately return.

This is a beautiful Inn. We had a view of both the ocean and Bodego Bay. The rooms are wonderful and the fireplace welcoming on the cool evenings. Appreciated having a balcony and also having the frig in the room. Complementary wireless high speed internet. Definitely a place we would recommend.

"This resort looked great from the outside. The rooms were ok but not worth the price. The restaurant was ok but not worth the price either. We would never go back and have told everyone we know about it,"
