Boat Harbour Garden Cottages offer self-contained accommodation at Boat Harbour, on Tasmania’s north west coast.
Your hosts Jacqui and Richard welcome guests to their unique country lifestyle.
There are four separate cottages set in five acres of garden, nestled in scenic patchwork farmland, they are private and very peaceful. There are outdoor barbecue and seating areas, a popular option to the fine dining available just minutes from your doorstep.
A guided garden walk, home grown vegetables, fruit and herbs in season can be requested. Richard needs little persuasion to show guests where the local fish hide. Fishing gear is provided free of charge. 18 holes of complimentary golf is offered to one guest per booking.
Boat Harbour is a stunningly beautiful area - a mecca for garden enthusiasts, lovers of beautiful scenic drives, beach activity, bushwalking, various sports and horse riding. Two minutes drive to Boat Harbour beach, ten minutes drive to aboriginal caves at Rocky Cape National Park, excellent local crafts, cafes and restaurants, Wynyard township and the nearest airport, 30 minute drive to historic Stanley, waterfalls and gardens. One hour drive to passenger ferry at Devonport, and 90 minutes drive to the Arthur River cruise and Cradle Mountain.
