There is a very nice view from the room but unfortuantely the windows are not very clean so you cant enjoy it so much. The first thing you see when you open the door is the bathroom and you almost go in it instead for the bedroom. Otherwise it is right in front of the beach which is great.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on July 5th and they did a fireworks show and a barbeque for the entire hotel. It was absolutely wonderful. I requested to stay on the first floor but they couldn't guarentee it. But we did get a first floor room right on the beach and we were able to check in about 3 hours earlier than the check in time. The staff was very nice and the restaurant/bar was wonderful as well. Highly recommended hotel. The next time we come to PC Beach on July 4th weekend we will definately stay there and bring the kids. We didn't have our kids but it was family friendly and they even had a movie on the beach for the children as well. It was worth the price and the price was reasonable as well!

Hotel is in total disrepair.Website is very misleading. Toilets falling off the wall, shower leaks, electrical outlets coming out of wall. Housekeeping rude. Bed uncomfortable. Loud party outside of my room all night.Hotel pool dirty. Will not stay here again. Looks as if all money and attention go into condos next door which are managed by same company. Might be willing to try condos, but will never go to hotel again.

very unfriendly staff, except for the guy at the front desk when we checked in. He was very courteous.

My stay at the board walk resort could be compared to camping. Everything was plugged into extention cords because there were not enough plugs. And even then you had to unplug one thing to make the next work. I was amazed to see that a 3 star hotel had no wall plates over the plugs. I must say having children was a big safety hazard for my family, since my children could just go stick their finger in the plug.I was sore for 4 days after staying at this hotel because my bed frame was broke and I had to sleep on top of my husband because the bed rolled us into one another. I would not recommend this to anyone because it was uncomfortable and unsafe. I was very disappointed because this was trip for my daughter for her birthday and it was miserable!

I must mention that we arrived before checkin and had to wait awhile for a key. When we finally got our key we realized that you didn't have to have a card to open our door. After one hour, they fixed it. Until they fixed it, we couldn't leave.I believe we stayed in the oldest part of the hotel. Our room faced a tree and the pool. If you choose to stay I would request beachside and the newer ones. Would I stay there again? Doubtful. Don't count on a kiddie pool because it didn't have any water. Also, when you come off of the beach, their shower is broken. If you want to wash off the sand you must go back to the pool shower to do so. They blamed everything on the kids that come for retreats. I think alot of it is they need to update and repair. Some of the caulking around the A/C was missing. You could see the sunshine from the outside...

Some of the staff were ok, but some were very rude to us and did not want to assist. We asked to speak to a manager because they had changed the checkout time and did not notify us. Our bill stated 10:00am, the staff called our room at 8:15am and informed us that check out was at 8:00am, and that we needed to check out and that there was going to be a $50.00 charge for a late checkout. We asked to speak to a manager and were told that we would have to drive down the road to speak to one because they were not able to do anything about the $50.00 late charge at this location. They also make you fill out a room checklist when entering and tell you that if you do not turn one in, they will charge you for every item missing from the room. If you are on spring break, or just looking to stay one night, be warned though they have about a million thing's they want to charge you for, so be very careful when you check in and make sure everything is in your room when you check in and be sure to verify the check out time. There is also a security deposit of $200.00 that you must pay. We were able to have the $50.00 late check-out removed, but I would really not recommend this hotel. If you have a family, I would not stay here in the months of March or April either because their are Spring Breaker's everywhere partying on the balconys. I just went down with a couple of friends for 1 night and we were not very happy with the way that we were treated. If you have asthma, the rooms smell like mildew so I would watch out for that also. The rooms are right on the beach though near Club La Vela, and a couple more clubs if that's what you are looking for, then you'll be happy! If you have a family though I would stronly recommend you stay somewhere else!

The Boardwalk Beach Resort was very poor starting with check-in. I had to wait in line for 20 minutes and when I finally got helped the lady was rude. I arrived at 5pm and they told me that I would have to wait for my room for an unknown amount of time. We fianlly got into the room after 6pm. Our first morning we woke up to a soaking wet carpet and a wet bathroom floor. We found out that the room above us was leaking water. I stopped by the front desk and told them. I called 4 times that day and I even went by and spoke with the manager. They did fix the leak after the 3rd call, but they never soaked up the water and it was still soaking wet when we left over 24 hours later. The room smelled like mildew and our items were wet from the water. I informed the staff at check out about my troubles and they did not offer any apologes.

When I got there it was something out of a mtv spring break show. There was a group check in in which every on needed to have there Id's copyed. When I went to check out they told me I would have to wait to have my room inspected. They told me that it would be three hours before a person would be avalible to check the room. After some debate I talked them into leting me go. Only because I had to be in New Orlean in five hours. They had to have know I had something to do with a 5:30 wake up call!

This hotel is right on the beach. We could look out our window and see the ocean. It was very convenient and it is not too far from restaurants either.

I'd say it's good for teenagers. The view is great but not for family. The amount you pay for is great. But housekeeping is very poor.

This was not the first time we stayed at this hotel and I can only say that the service and the hotel properties only improve with time. Everything was great!

The hotel was clean Pool was nice Close to beach. Hotel staff were rude not helpful at all. At check-in we where not informed that they would be setting up a festival for bikers in the parking lot of our hotel and tat we would have to park along the street. When we asked if we could move to another of their two hotels(they had three) which were almost empty they said no. Iwould not rcommend this hotel to anyone.

The Boardwalk Beach Resort Convention center and hotel was comfortable, the room was very clean. I loved the fact that the shower curtin and the tub was very clean. There was adequate space for hanging clothes. The location was very good. I Would reccomend a friend to stay at the Boardwalk Beach Resort Convention center and Hotel.

The Boardwalk Beach Resort Convention Center and Hotel was located right at the beach. You could walk out the back entrance onto the beautiful beach . It consists of a wide expanse fine white sand--no dunes or brush--just sand, and the most beautiful clear blue/green warm water. The beach experience was very pleasant. The location was on the far east end of the beach, somewhat of a problem because the traffic on the two main streets was always bumper-to-bumper in the evening, making it very difficult to navigate when going to dinner. I would have preferred to be in the center within walking distance of more than one restaurant. The hotel itself was a disappointment. I can sum it up by saying it appears that the owner(s) put as little of their profit as possible into maintenance. Several of us guests surmise that it is probably going to be torn down in the near future as there is new higher rise building going on all over Panama City Beach. If all are occupied at the same time I don't think traffic will move at all. There was no literature up in the lobby or in our room informing us of local attractions, restaurants, or other amenities and when I asked the front desk why they just shrugged and handed me a one page pamphlet that was behind the desk and out of sight. Our room was moldy, giving me a sinus infection--my first for 2007. Nothing we hung up in the room ever dried, towels were threadbare, the mattress and box spring of my bed looked like it was about to collapse, and the carpet was damp and sour (I could not lay on the floor to do my stretching exercises.) The refrigerator was miniscule (luckily we had our own cooler with ice).

The boardwalk hotel was a very comfortable and clean and safe environment. The bathroom could have been a little larger but beside that the stay was very enjoyable , and the staff was very nice. I would recommend anyone to stay there .

The hotel was moderately clean and had average amenities. I would recommend it for a one or two night stay, but not for a three or longer night stay. It is an older facility, but was as clean as I had expected for the price and availability.
