This hotel was the worst I've ever stayed in. Very unclean and just filthy.

Good price and good location. Very dirty, insets found at the sink and bathroom. Need to clean up by insets control. Too dirty to stay.

I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was a total nightmare. Although reservations were made months before, rooms were not ready and we had to wait. The hallways and elevator were extremely dirty. There were paint stains all over the floors, halls, carpets, etc. The laundry washer/dryer did not work. Bathroom door did not close all the way. Coffee maker did not work. I had it changed 6 times. The key (card) did not work all the time. We were constantly having to go to the front desk to get the card reset. The plasma TV would automatic turn off when you least expect it. The front desk lady was no help what so ever!

I booked this hotel because it was the cheapest one. I was going for a two-night stay and my friends were staying nearby at Westgate Lakes. I wish I had booked a room elsewhere for a little more money. This place was horrendous. For starters, when I got there at 9pm I quickly ran it to use the restroom and promptly leave to go visit my friends. Well, the light fixture over the toilet was disassembled and laying on the toilet. No problem, I thought. I had the light over the vanity. I left. When I came back a few hours later the unit smelled like rotten eggs or bad urine, or both. The AC had been running. I considered asking for another room, but I was going to be at Epcot the next day for the whole day. I had to shut off the AC and the smell slowly went away. The next morning I went over to the Cont. Breakfast (in the bar). It was awful. I went back to my room to shower. I opened the very old plastic curtain and low and behold, there was no knob to turn the water on. I had to call the desk. They came and fixed the shower AND light. The shower itself was very cramped but at least I could take one now. I left for Epcot and posted their own sign on the door for minimum maid service, i.e. make beds, provide clean towels, replace the coffee. None of these things were done, NOT ONE THING. One of the lights were on, which I didn't leave on, and one of the dresser drawers was wide open and I had never opened any of them. Fortunately, since I packed light I took everything with me when I left in the morning for Epcot. I am telling you, this is the worst hotel I ever stayed in. Forget the low rate and stay elsewhere!

At check-in, they tried to charge a resort fee until I pointed out that I had already been charged all fees and taxes. I would not recommend this hotel if you are interested in cleanliness. Entering the room, we were greeted by a roach on the curtains that disappeared and then set the tone for the stay. The air conditioner was old and falling apart, the remote for the TV turned channels, but would not turn it on or off, the fan in the bathroom didn?t work, there was hair in the tub from the last guest, there were ants on and around the sink, paint was peeling off the wall and ceiling, the bed was old and material around the box springs was torn, the floor looked like it had never been vacuumed. It was a disgusting, fifthly dirty crap hole of a hotel room, but hey if that is what you like, you will feel like a king here. We couldn?t cancel and book into another hotel because online travel charges a 25 cancellation fee; so needless to say, we will not be using online travel ever again.

Noise was horrible and Staff says that it is your responsibility to ask the other guests to quiet down. If you complain then the service gets worst. But the ant problem was so horrible that my skin still crawls whenever I think about it.

Nothing. The hotel rooms were vile. We had to switch rooms 3 times. Would never go back. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms all smelly (they appear to allow pets in the rooms). The general condition of the hotel is bordering on run down. The only plus was that the hotel staff was co-operative (perhaps because my complaints were not the only one being made). Several UK tour operators use this hotel and I noticed that they were moving their guests to other hotels.

I saw some reviews here and I was scared to make the reservation but i took a risk. When we got there everything went well. The check-in was fast and they were curteous. We checked in early and they didn't give us any problems. The AC they had was digital so it was easy to control. We noticecd that they had alot of old mattresses thrown away in the back of the building so we guess they were updating the hotel. We didn't get to try the breakfast they had. The only complain I could have was that after the first day, the hot water would start gradually changing colder and the shower made a noise (heater). But it wasn't drastic enough to say there was no hot water at all. I think for the price and location it wasn't bad at all. I'd say it was less than 5 mins from Universal and across from Wet N Wild. There are restaurants and stores close by. Great Location! I'd come here again.

when we first arrived to orlando it was hard to find the hotel because you have to make a quick turn cause its all the way in the corner the plus side to it that its just 5 mins away in a car to universal and less than 5 mins away from wet and wild. when we checked in the lady at the desk was so helpful and nice didnt see any staff.it was a quick check-in and when we got into our room our mouths dropped open i guess it was the quality of the room the minute i set down i killed a roach crawling out of a book then when we left to walk the strip of orlando we came back and our room key didnt work so we had to go back and get two more working keys so it wasnt a problem with that anymore. the down side was the shower after being on the road all day and seeing the city for a while we went to take a shower and the water in less than a mintue went from hot to ice cold.also the tv in the room as soon as we turned it on it was like watching a fizzed out television and being in a movie theater all at the same time because the volume control was going bad. all in all the stay was pretty good for the two days because we was only in the room at night anyway. so like the old saying goes you actually do get what you pay for.

Keep in mind that you are not going to get the best of service or rooms when paying so little. The rooms could be a little more updated. Fresh air is definitely needed in the rooms so as to get rid of the musty smell. The continental breakfast only included sugary cereal, donuts, watery juices and canned fruit...no protein, just sugar.

Great pool and close to universal. The shuttle to the park only went once in the morning and once at night. Nice hotel, but very basic. It's great if your traveling at a low cost. Hotel staff was very helpful. On the way down to Florida, a tire flipped up off the highway and cracked our window. I called the hotel and they got me phone numbers for a glass company before we even checked in. One other thing that was bad about this hotel was that the I shuttles did not go to universal from there. Parking was $11 a day, you could leave and come back as long as you kept your receipt, and parking was free after 6 pm.

First of all, I have stayed here before and not had such a terrible experience, but this time was a deal breaker. I actually got a bruise on my hip from a spring in the bed, the bathroom door wouldn't close, there were silverfish by the sink, the light in the bathroom flickered so much that we made jokes about it being a disco. The door into the room NEVER opened on the first try, it always took at least four tries and there was a gap in the door, towards the bottom that you could see through. There was also obvious water damage to the walls and the drawers in the dresser were not working. When I asked for four extra pillows, only two were sent. Also when the room was cleaned, no clean towels or toilet paper were left. The location of the hotel is great and the bar/pool area is pretty nice and there is a nice pond on site where you can feed the fish and turtles, but I wouldn't recommend anyone staying there, it was just really uncomfortable. There are several other hotels in the same location, check those out. If you aren't going to spend much time at the hotel, then you may be able to stick this one out. Just don't have any high hopes for a comfortable nights stay. I was very disappointed.

Hotel was good value for the money we paid; pluses location, you can walk to universal studios and back in 20 min. clean room bed and bathroom are all we needed and were provided, also free parking is a plus. Disliked: shuttle service to parks: you spin around orlando picking up fellow vacationers from other hotels and lose an hour or more, didn?t use it to return to our hotel the first day and after that didn?t use it at all. Another minus is the continental breakfast included we didin?t expect the ritz buffet but also nothing as little varied as what we saw, after the first day didn?t have breakfast anymore at the hotel. All in all, good experience, would do it again

When we came to this hotel we expected at least the minimum things to work...the wireless internet wasnt working in some parts of the hotel, the A/C wasnt cooling the room, the hotel staff was nice enough to switch our room but then the drain of the tub wouldnt do its job but everything else worked perfectly fine. This can also be a cause of remodeling/construction in the hotel. So please call the hotel and ask if they are still renovating/under construction. and for the complimentary breakfast it wasnt much of a breakfast and where they held it didnt have enough space to sit most of the guests of the hotel.

Low price. Lack of maintenance. Econolodge has better rooms with comparable prices. Faucet clogs, bathtub under drain slow, coffee maker does not work.
