Loved the views & all the windows in our room. Convenient location. Some noise at night from Robson St. Noisy A/C unit. We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Horizon. The views were fantastic, especially at sunset and early in the morning. While the location itself is not picturesque, it is centrally located and convenient for exploring the city. We stayed here with our 7-month-old and had take out for dinner every night. There are decent places nearby to get food from (Asahi-Ya, La Bretagne Creperie) and Mondo Gelato is right across the street! The negatives: a couple of nights the noise drifted up from Robson St (car alarms, people yelling) and the room got warm at night. It was warm in the hallways so maybe the heat was on? The room thermostat didn't seem to do anything so we tried using the a/c, but the unit was pretty noisy and impossible to sleep with it on. I would have left a window open, but was discouraged by the street noise.

I stayed here four nights in a very large, clean comfortable room surrounded by restaurants and nightclubs and shopping and fun. Parking was easy in the adjacent parking garage. Only one minor issue--I did not get the message left by my son for me to receive at check in. My next trip to Vancouver, I will stay here.

Staff was friendly and very helpful. The parking fee. The hotel is a great place to stay and is in a great location!

I would stay here again in a heartbeat. it exceeded our expectations. yes, the elevators were slow but I was on vacation and slowing down was a good thing. We requested a west side room, were accommodated and recommended by staff that we be in room for the sunset around 8pm. it was spectacular, overlooking the English Bay. very large corner room with balcony. clean and comfortable. the bed was like sleeping in hugs. This hotel is in a major high fashion shopping district, lots of interesting store fronts and people to see. if you like shopping this is the spot but also in walking distance of everything we wanted to do. we rented bikes a few blocks down from the hotel and spent a day in Stanley Park riding along the seawall and taking in the beautiful views and weather. The price is very reasonable compared to other area hotels with higher prices and lower reviews. On our last day there we checked out at 11am but the staff stored our luggage while we visited the city all day prior to our night time flight. Great Hotel. I am pleased and looking forward to visiting again.

Corner view was very nice, room was very clean. Room phone was never fully charged and only let me talk for 5-7 minutes. I asked for a new one but I'm not sure it ever got changed. Very clean hotel room but not sterile feeling. It was a cozy room with a great view and comfy bed.

very nice room. clean and larger than i expected. photo on website does do it justice. we got a free upgrade. room had 180 degree view of city, bay and snow capped mountains. spectacular view. central location. the entire downtown within walking distance. staff was very helpful and able to answer our questions about the city. the is a small work out area consisting of lap pool, jacuzzi, sauna, 2 treadmills and a stationary bike. nothing great there but you can get a work out in. there is a restaurant on site. breakfast, our only meal there, was good. overall, an excellent experience. i would go back and recommend to friends.

The hotel is good. Located in a very good place where you can easily walk around and find many things to do and see. The only thing is that I lost part of my money that was locked inside de room safe. Completely sure that I always kept it locked all the time, they couldn't do anything at all (even split the damage). Don't recommend.....be careful.

The location was perfect, and the rooms are very comfortable. The lobby area is small and gets crowded. We had an excellent stay at the hotel. The room was very large, and it is located in the heart of Robson Street. You can't ask for a better location!

We stayed at the Blue Horizon in downtown Vancouver. We chose it based on location and room rates ( a very reasonable weekend rate as compared to other hotels in the area). I also liked the idea of a balcony--fresh air in a hotel room is a bonus I can't pass up.The room was huge and the views spectacular. We could see the harbor and mist shrouded mountains, and cityscpes in three directions. The location was very good for shopping, walking and dining, and had the added convienence of the "hop on, hop off" tour bus/trolley stopping right outside the front door. The ticket is good for two days of travel to major tourist attractions. We would certainly stay at the Blue Horizon again.

Got good value for the price. The hotel is located on an upscale but busy and noisy street. Upper rooms did not block the noise.

Helpful staff. Cab didn't show, after making a reservation the night before. Spacious rooms, very good location in the shopping district, courteous and helpful staff.

Amazing stay for the cost! N/A The stay was absolutely glorious until the very end, when the rental car was broken into whilst in the hotel garage; someone knew exactly which bag to steal from the trunk (the one with money and electronics), which made us think there may be a bad apple handling the checked baggage at the hotel. This obviously dampened our opinion, but the hotel itself was fantastic. I'd stay again.

Great location. Easy to catch tour buses. A bit noisy on the street side. Need to be 20 floors or so high. Great location for tourists. Easy to get around and shop. Friendly, helpful people.

Beautiful and spacious rooms, each with balcony, in great part of town. We traveled in a group of husband, wife and three teenagers. The kids had the room next to ours. Both were very spacious, clean and comfortable and had balconies with great Vancouver views. We were in a vibrant part of downtown, within walking distance of everything we wanted. The hotel restaurant was very good with sidewalk dining. Walked to Stanley Park, rented bikes and/or rode the free on/off shuttle around it. Loved Vancouver!

Every room is a corner room with a fantastic view of down town. There is no room service. The Blue Horizon surpassed most of my expectations. From the balcony for every room, to the television that revolves accommodatingly, the hotel caters to most desires. While they don't provide room service, the attached restaurant will allow you to take your food to your room (including drinks) where you can dine in romantic seclusion. If you like to go out, it's location is perfect, right in the middle of the action. If you don't, there is an attached club, restaurant, and lounge to insulate you from Vancouver's night life. Most convenient. We will definitely stay here again.

Location, parking and rooms are good size. A little pricey for the room, maybe if it was a little more romantic or eye appealing. More for the business traveler.
