The lodge is one of the nicest and definitely the cleanest place we have ever stayed in. Staff was amazing. Great location to downtown Sister Bay and local attractions. We made reservation for 2010 already.

The staff and location of the hotel were very good, and very convenient to downtown Sister Bay. It was a quiet and relaxing hotel, but I felt it was over-priced for the comfort of the bed, and the small air conditioner in the room. It was 70-80 degrees out, and we had the air conditioner at full blast the entire weekend, and it was cooler in the hallway than the room. Maybe ours needed a tune up?! Other hotels of similar pricing have always had the most comfortable beds and pillows - this one was hard and the pillows were unflexible. My bed at home is more comfortable, and usually it's the other way around! But the room itself was great - nice little kitchenette with plates and glasses provided,and a wonderful whirlpool. Although, it could have used a more up-dated TV and a full length mirror somewhere.

The room was beautiful, clean and well cared for! More than I expected. King sized bed, Jacuzzi tub, fireplace and little kitchenette. Quiet and comfortable. The indoor pool area with whirlpool was very clean.
