The hotel was easy to find, good location. The front desk staff, especially [...], was great. She gave us ideas of things to do such as parasailing and shopping. The cafe-Bazzies- in the hotel was good too as was the staff. Not impressed with the restaurant Sloppy Joes that is next door. The waitress was slow, unorganized and forgetful. Had to remind her about extra drinks and had to ask for the bill. Tried it once, never went back. There are several great restuarants around the area though. The beach was very nice and clean. We will come back again.

Great ocean front. I will go again super hotel for a great price!

Bilmar had great front desk service, room was in the tower building and it was old looking. The cleaning staff needed get on the same page with the other hotel staff and take alittle more pride in the job they do. The Bilmar grounds were very well maintained and the pools were great!

front desk was helpful. cleaning staff was helpful and freindly. the pool was nice. rooms are clean. the only problem is parking. they could use more parking areas. the hotel restaraunt was not good, but sloppy j was great.

We had a top floor, efficiency on the gulf. Everything we hoped it would be and more. Great view, clean, granite in the Kitchen, full fridge..etc. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful for everything, restaurants where exactly what we where looking for. If you get a chance jump on Charlies Charters...great value. Would absolutely recommend ....

My husband and I were very pleased with the Bilmar. We picked it sight unseen and were surprised that it was as nice as it was. The room was lovely - facing the gulf! The staff was helpful and the location is super. We enjoyed our stay and would go back there again.

My experience was very pleasant. The accomadation were very nice considering the price. The bar down stair was excellence. The bed was comfortable no springs sticking out. I was very please with the food at the restaurant but besides that, that is my only complaint.

It is an older hotel that has been remodeled quite well. The pool area could use some revamping especially the chairs, but overall nice. Just the pool chairs. The kids loved being in a first floor walk out room. We stepped right out onto the beach! We were just a few steps away from the restaurant which had live entertainment each night so we sat on the patio and listed from our room while the kiddos played in the sand.

Rooms were beautifully decorated and,as the management claims, were obviously recently renovated. The only miss was that the carpet needed cleaning or replacing. Great view of the beach and gulf. Excellent location. Make sure you know what type of room your getting and the location however. Not all rooms have a balcony or an ocean view and some are either next to or over the bar which as music.

For the price is was good. The rooms are remodled and comfortable but the beds are hard. It is fairly noisy as well. There were 2 wedding receptions and a sorority event during our stay and the walls are thin so it got very noisy late. However, the location to the beach is priceless. There are much nicer places closer to Clearwater but they are also much more expensive. Sloppy Joes was a good resturant and the bar was fun. I would stay agian especially for the price.

I was concerned about noise because the buildings are 'motel style' with exterior corridors - the parking lot is on one side and the pool/restaurant is on the other - but I didn't experience any problems with noise. The room was quite nice and very clean. There have been some upgrades, granite countertops, flat-screen TVs, etc. The room had a mini-fridge, microwave, and stove-top. The maintenance staff is very helpful. I had a problem with my door lock and the young man who fixed it not only got me into the room, but took my electronic keys to the front desk to be reprogrammed.

Beach front. Parking. Great for being on the beach. Rooms are pretty clean and all look at the gulf of Mexico.

Very impressed with this location. The staff were very friendly, rooms very clean and well maintained. The maid service was much better than average, even better than excellent. Attention to detail was the theme, they even noticed the coffee I drank and left extra. I will stay here on my next vacation to Treasure Island. The location was in the middle of everything, but had easy road access. Two pools, a hottub, exercise facility, all you could ask for. I would recommend this resort to anyone who values clean rooms, good service, and a fair price.

The hotel was great, very clean and all of the staff was very friendly. The remodeled rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. We paid a little extra for a balcony room with a full kitchen and it was worth it to be able to sit outside in your own beachside private space morning and evening. Being able to do a little cooking helped the budget. They are building a Publix right across the street. Until it's completed, you need to drive about a mile to a grocery. There is a Walgreens across the street as well as several beach shops for any necessities you may need. The parking get's a little tight in the evening, but there are attendants who save spaces for hotel guests and try to get a you a spot near your room, which is much appreciated. We were six floors directly above the restaurant and bar, and between that and the outside bar across the street, it was a little noisy with music in the evening, especially with the door to the balcony open...but what can you expect in a resort town? All of the noise disappeared by 10:00 and then everything was quiet. The beach is beautiful! All in all, I think we were very lucky to get something of this quality on a week's notice and we will definitely be back.

Perfect location on the beach. You can walk every where you want to go. Everyone friendly and helpful. We will go again. Parking was difficult and not really convenient. We have stayed here before and we will surely stay there again. Good hotel for the price. Thank you for a romantic weekend.

My husband and I stayed at the Bilmar for a week in Oct.2008.... we could not have made a better choice for a hotel.... it was everything we had hoped it would be, the great gulf view, the location to everything else... great room, great staff... lots of fun and relaxation... and all at an affordable price while sticking with quality. We can't wait to go back and bring the kids and grandkids... As nice as it was to get away "from it all" we also can't wait to share it with them.... what a great place to have private time or family time. So as we sit here back in NH where winter is surely on its way we are planning and dreaming of our next getaway to the warm waters of the gulf and that beautiful view from our balcony at the Bilmar..

We loved the location and the beach. We liked the room and how it was set up, but it was dirty!! The vents where black with dirt, the carpets are in need of a GOOD cleaning, the basements and floors needed some attention. Basicly, is it a nice place, but they need to pay closers attention to how the rooms are being cleaned. Also, we were there for three days and the sheets were NEVER changed.
