The hotel is a classic Dutch hotel in the heart of Amsterdam. If you are used to large American style rooms you will be disappointed, but then you shouldn't be spending any time in your room in the first place while staying in one of the most picturesque cities in Europe. We found the breakfast at 19.50 Euros a bit pricey and chose to eat at one of the many cafes in the area. But that was a small price to be within walking distance of the Rijksmuseum and the van Gough Museum. The room was very quiet and peaceful making the time we spent there relaxing after very full days of sightseeing. Definitely a 'go to' place next time in A'dam

This is the second time that I have stayed at this hotel. The staff is even better that when I was there before. It is so close to the Rijksmuseum and the Concertebrouw. The tram is only a block away. It is walking distance to just about anywhere within the main core of the city. It's safe for walking even late at night.

The friendly staff was extremely helpful in providing directions to several out of the way restaurants and flower gardens. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. Also, rent bikes when you are in Amsterdam. It is the best and easiest way to travel around the city!

The hotel location is excellent and very close to the Vondapark. The area was very quiet and safe. We walked the entire city in the course of 5 days and in my opinion the Museum District is the best location for a hotel. The staff was excellent and everything was seamless from check in to check out. Our package did not include breakfast and the cost was expensive at * euros per person, so you might want to venture out for breakfast. The rooms are small but neat. The bed was not as supportive as I hoped and was sloped in the middle. Overall, an excellent value for the location and accommodations.

We had a wonderful time! The hour and a half in the personal spa room was a very special added treat. The staff were all very kind and helpful even with all the questions I was asking (as a first time visitor to Amsterdam). The breakfasts were exceptional with a very kind and helpful staff as well. The hotel is very well located...just a short walk to upscale shopping and groceries, the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh museum, and the Leidseplein for the nightlife. WHEN we return to Amsterdam this will be where we stay...we need more time to enjoy all that is offered.
