Big Sky's Mountain Village lies at the base of majestic Lone Peak. The two cornerstones are the Shoshone/Huntley/Yellowstone Conference Center complex and the luxurious new Summit at Big Sky. These tall structures combine to total nearly 500 hotel rooms, suites and condominiums. In the general vicinity are many more lodge rooms, cabins and condominiums of varying sizes and proximity to the lifts.

From Airport: Exit Gallatin Field by making a right turn onto Hwy. 10 (frontage road). Drive 1.4 miles west through the small town of Belgrade. Turn left onto Hwy. 291. This road passes over Interstate 90 and becomes Hwy. 85 and then Hwy. 191. Once over I-90, proceed south 7 miles, go straight through the four-way stop on Hwy. 191. Continue south on Hwy 191 for 39 miles. The Whitewater Inn is 1/2 mile south from JCT 64 on the left side of Hwy 191. For all other accomodations turn right at MT Hwy. 64 (traffic light) and go west 9 miles to the Mountain Village, passing through the Meadow Village. Turn left at the 'Welcome to Big Sky Mountain Village' sign, then right at the next small intersection. Follow the road up to the first high-rise seven-story complex, which is the reception for the Huntley Lodge, Shoshone Condominium Hotel, Big Sky Central Reservations, and Yellowstone Conference Center. If you are staying in Summit, Big Horn, Powder Ridge, Snowcrest, or Arrowhead, check in at the Summit, the second tall structure.
